Some of the hodlers are using Blockfolio you can download it in playstore, but sometimes the prices of the token are not accurate so i prefer to check in coinmarketcap then use calculator. If you are just holding erc20 you can just also check it in http://deltabalances.github.io/.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I am using an app called blockfolio. Its very convenient, easy to track and has an alert when want to buy or sell some coins. There are also features that can help you like graphs, buy and sell volume and news.

Good old spreadsheets plus notepad for me. Some tools within exchanges are pretty decent, but since I have many accounts across several exchanges, it does get pretty difficult to stick to them. I don't do heavy trading so I guess that helps. And from mid last year, I basically stopped wasting time on scores of alts, my portfolio pretty much stands at around 15 currencies including Bitcoin. I do live to regret at least one of the casualties from my spring cleaning... Raiblocks I'm talking about. Simply deleted the entire wallet and info, and I distinctly recall having over 100. But I suppose the time freed up from all that mindless maintenance makes up for it.

Thanks for recommending blockfolio, some of you. Certainly going to check it out. I might consider adding considerably to my trading activity this year, seems like the last few years if not the final year we can take advantage of mooning coins.

For some people keeping track of their portfolio is quite easy if they only have Bitcoin and keep it in their wallet - this means they only have to multiply current price with the amount of coins they own, but when people start getting into alts and multiple exchanges, things become more complicated. The easiest method is to use spreadsheets, but they still require a lot of input if you can't get the price automatically. Then there are apps that can be linked to your exchange accounts.

1. What portfolio tracking tools do you use?

2. What features do you want to see in apps? Do you want to connect them to your exchange accounts or also have an option to input your portfolio? Do you want to have a desktop version?

1. I mostly used BLOCKFOLIO app. Im using this app for several months now. Interface is good and user friendly. You must check it out to see if it will be fit to your criteria.

2. Desktop version is optional. It's quiet more convenient to track portfolios on mobile app so that anywhere you can accessed it.

There are times that a certain coin isn't listed on Blockfolio. So for this, I manually searched for it on Coinmarketcap via Google search (Token name + Coinmarketcap) and checking it regularly especially if I have a hoard coins of it. If still, it's not available on CMC then no choice but to go directly in their exchange market link (e.g Bitcoinstake Yobit).

Simple portfolio tracking tools might not be that accurate due to a pretty simple reason that prices of various coins are largely varied over various exchanges. While the second option is just highly risky. You can't even think of connecting all your exchanges to a central platform. I hold a  hell lot of alts and its almost impossible for me to predict the inventory at a certain time. Because price is too largely fluctuating and decimals create much larger problems.

But yes now I really want a spreadsheet of  my own which could pick up all my values automatically from the exchanges. Everyone could have such a customized sheet where you could just fill the number of coins you hold and the value can be calculated automatically.

I'm old school, I know there are apps for almost anything you can imagine, but when it comes to keep track of huge amount of numbers and make fast calculations nothing beats excel or their equivalents, just create a spreadsheet and create the formulas and you can easily compare anytime period between your investments, it is a little bit of work of course, but you can decide which stats you are interested in seeing and you are not dependent on the developer of some app.

With "precision"? Blockfolio is horrible, their prices are always outdated by more than 15 seconds of delay, that is why Delta is much more better.
I am using blockfolio for more than 3 months and found it enough to track my crypto portfolio with precision. They provide all tools and features needed to track your daily and all time profit loss with individual coin. As well as you can add alert for different price ranges for almost all alts.

Anyway, i am usually checking my delta app more than 3 times a day, but not more than that.

And taking a look over them during bearish days is like a poison, lmao..

All right, just came back to say I tried out Blockfolio after seeing it being recommended here. My 3-year old Asus (Android) has probably been due an upgrade for a long time but this app doesn't handle quickly enough for me. I thought it'd be light but maybe light today doesn't match with an old phone. I'd liked to have been able to modify the news feed though, I get enough of the sources and would like to add a few of my own within the app.

Does anyone know a good desktop app to use? Google shows me a few, but I wonder what everyone else uses?

15 seconds is nothing, I don't need to act immediately as I'm more interested in management features rather than trading tools. But I'll look at Delta later and give that a try. And yeah, checking them daily is seriously bad for your (mental) health. I've really cut down on constant price checking (and I'm a holder!).

I use Blockfolio and Delta apps. Of course there are similar software that you can download from Google Play.

I am not having any apps or website to track the portfolio. I would just put everything in the MEW so that I can check them out on the etherscan itself. That's the most easier way to keep track of your tokens. Also it gives you total estimate of the account in single view. It's dynamic scanner so the values are always updated.
