I seriously don't know what made him think that bitcoins will drop to $1000 this year.Seeing bitcoins demand in the market it is hard to think that prices will go below $10k or $9k.But again nothing can be said for sure as no one predicted that bitcoins would ever reach $20k and bitcoins are very volatile and also unpredictable.There are many predictions going around the net some says bitcoins will reach $40k and some says $1k, we should not pay much attention to this, it may only lead to painc sell.

$1000 is a stretch, I think. $1000 would mean that the crypto market would crash and burn as a whole, at least in its current state. I think the crypto market is too volatile for whales to give up on, because this volatile a market provides huge win opportunities for them.
