Well don't listen to all the news because some of them serve the purpose to create panic among the communities. Bitcoin might drop under 5k$ but I don't see it coming back to 1k$ because miners will stop mining around 3k$.

$3k looks more realistic but i don't think its going as low as $1k. Also you would be lucky if you will be able to grab $3k coins. As the next bull cycle is going to take bitcoin prices to an astronomical level.

No one wants it to drop below $1000, even now some government agencies. Because, as far as I know, many institutions also have a large number of bitcoins. It is not in their interest.
