Bitcoin has hit some lows this year but i don't think it is going to go down that low because from what some crypto analysts say the lowest bottom that we are expecting in bitcoin this year is just around $3k. However just as it hits new low record this year we should expect a new record of bitcoin rise when the bull run begins.

I don't think Bitcoin will drop below $1000 this year. There are drop in value of btc but it doesn't go below $1000 there are heap and panic among the peoples in the market made btc value to drop to $3700 which is not expected. Hence be calm and wait for the great time ahead..

This post has aged so well, when this was first posted none of us actually took it serious because bitcoin was still in the bull and we all thought that there was no way that something that high would fall to be this low but look at where we are right now. It just goes to show that there are people who actually know what they are talking about when it comes to the coins

This year (2018) according to many news sites and forecasts they all offer a bottom of $ 2k. I think the $ 1k price will be more unlikely than that.

Lol, the op was last jan. people were calling it crazy.
Now look where we are, $1000 to $3000 doesn't seem too crazy does it?
I will not say that I predicted a crash, I was caught up in the crazy fomo like everyone else.
Now that all is said and done and I look back at 2018, the signs were everywhere.
If I would have taken a step back and looked at the numbers instead of hype, better predictions could have been made.
(well, $1000 to $3000 is a pretty wide range though lol).

Looking at other factors now, it is also becoming more obvious that 2019 won't see that much progress either.
The two major factors is because of the unsustainable growth crypto had in 2017 and the global economic downfall.
On one hand, current investors are just hodling for dear life.
And the other, new investors won't come in cause their other holdings are bleeding.

It may drop hard but not to that price. It is impossible for bitcoin's price to reach that low. And when we try to see the order book of bitcoin, there are many defense price established for it not to go more below to its price.

I don't think it will happen to be honest. But it might get bellow $2000 at some point for a very short time before exploding. That will signal the reversal and start of the bull market.

No way, the lowest price where we can go is 3k USD per Bitcoin, if we go lower Ethereum will cost 20 USD and it is going to be very sad for the whole market and for the crypto currencies future. Hope we could avoid such a scenario.

Does not think that it can even reach to 2500$. It has reached to 3500$ and if it rise from here so many be 6-7k would be on cards within couple of days itself. So keep buying the coin at cheap rate else it can reach to high and become expensive and would be out of reach.
