Why people invest in ICO when it is risky and these days most of the coins are dropping. Do you think ICOs are going to survive for a long time?

I don't think that icos carry more risk than any of the other coins in the market, when you are investing in any coin you are always running the risk of losing your money and ico is no different. Just that the reason that people invest in icos is due to their profits being one that you can get short term instead of having to wait a long time with already established coins

People invest the money in ICO projects because expect to receive after an exit of a coin one exchange bigger than have enclosed. But in 2018 and furthermore in the second half all coins which come to the exchanges at once go down in price. But last year it was very favorable.

ICO is very strong in the bull market. And that is why 2017 is the best year for ICOs, and now in the bear market, 90% of ICOs are down and the price is lower than the ICO. And investors are losing a lot of money to the ICO, and there are more ICOs scam than in 2017 with sophisticated tricks steal money  from investors.

Theoretically icos are the best investment cause in ICO we will gate any crypto at the lower price. But noe a days icos are not profitable. But if we see 8-9 months earlier many icos was giving great profit but after market dumb and many scammed and failed icos. After that investors lost their interest in icos and most of the icos can't reach hardcap. And the numbers of icos increase so much so the numbers of scams also increasing. But still we have many good icos and many of them give 3-4x even in this bear market.

Yes, ICOs will survive but they will be less in number and absolutely they will raise less money. Those future will perhaps try to compete the existing one and there will be no unique ideas. They will just upgrade it like other blockchain format altcoins that are now 4.0 so they can still attract investors.

ICO will never die, at least one project a year, but will create new projects that will make the cryptocurrency more varied and interesting.    ICO can be a profit for you, but I still know another way to passive income - forging. But there are very few forging coins.

No risk no reward!  The level of your risk in life determine to a large  extent your reward.  I think ICO have benefited the larger community of cryptocurrency investors and traders  and people that believe in cryptocurrency ideals want to see it come true and ICO prepare a vechicle for that provided they are resolute in driving the vechicle to it's destination!
