Hi All

I have a LOAD of Dead S7 and S9 boards, Bitamin will only repair an S9 card if u send the WHOLE miner !!! (pointless with loss in mining revenue).

Plus they will NOT repair S7 boards as they are discontinued !!

I have this link - https://bitmainwarranty.com/

Which directs you here - https://myrig.com/

They even have S9's for sale !!!

I will NEVER understand why a member on here has NOT yet set up a repair shop...They would make a Fortune !!!!

Any dealt with these ?

I am based in the UK.

Cheers

OH plus the 16Th Dragonmint miner seems a CON !!!!

BitmainWarranty, currently known as Myrig.com, is a separate company, it is not part of Bitmain.

They are located in Denver, Colorado, USA.

They have a service for paid out-of-warranty repairs for Antminer hardware.

They also sell mining hardware and offer hosting service.

They are mentioned in the Bitmain repair guide, part 4:
Quote
4.      Instructions for out of warranty repair
If your machine is out of warranty you can send the parts or machine to Bitmain for paid repair,

To send the package to Bitmain for paid repair:
                         a. Please contact us first before returning for repair.
                         b. Please create a repair ticket.
                         c.  The bill will be sent to you once the machine is repaired. Be sure to pack parts well before shipping out.
                         d.   Be sure to pack parts well before shipping out.
If the boards get damaged during transport, we cannot repair them.

You can also send the faulty parts to Bitmain Warranty in the United States. Bitmain Warranty is a separate company. You can contact them at support@bitmainwarranty.com.

Ah right...It seems i have gone round in a complete circle after trying to create a repair ticket with Bitmain.

1. I need to send the whole miner to their new address for S9 repair.

2. They DO NOT repair S7 boards (that is the reply i had from Bitmain Customer Services.

So confusing..

The ONLY sensible option is to sell them as FAULTY on Ebay...Some one is repairing them..I have seen the S7 repair thread controlling the PWN chip via a VT...But honestly i gave that up years ago after dremelling into Wii chips to solder on Kynar wire...lol

Maybe you can upgrade your s7 changing your hashing board and controller board.. like hotmine x5 for antminer s5..
you can check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1857129.0 posted by HagssFIN
And maybe upgrading hashing board and control board could be possible to fix your antminer s7..

Solving blocks can't be solved without my rigs.
