hi guys
anyone mine ethereum with RX 570 4gb/8gb (elpida/hynix)

i used many bios, many afterburner settings, many amd driver but hashrate stop at 24 and power consumption is HUGE (over 800w at wall for 2 gpus!!!)

configuration:
i3 4gb
win10
claymore 10
amd driver 17.11

can you post your bios/settings for a benchmark? i don't understand

thank you!

What clocks are you running on the GPU? That kind of power consumption seems way of and way above 100% PL for two of them. Nothing else eating up electricity?
How hot are the GPUs?
Just for your reference my rig with 6x RX 570 is consuming 530W off the wall with cryptonight and 720W for dagger.

ddu your drivers and install blockchain drivers.
search for modified bios from google
flash the modified bios, run ati patcher
insert -cvddc 875 in bat file in claymore miner
run memory clock at 2100 in msi ab for 30 mh/s

The DAG problem has already been solved, just use the blockchain driver.

It yields from 29 to 30 mhs.

thank you guys for all answers! really  Smiley Smiley Smiley

in this moment i'm using a mod bios from anorak.tech specific for my Rx 570 4gb (113-2E366FU-053) power safe with msi ab:
mv -93
core clock 900
memory clock 2100
fan 55%
temp. 41c
ethereum mhs 19 solo mode

and a rx570 8gb (113-2E366AU-X56) also modded
mv -93
core clock 900
memory clock 2100
fan 55%
temp. 41c
ethereum mhs 19 solo mode

800watt at the wall for only 38 mhs

now i ddu all drivers and try AMD blockchain driver (latest 23th august right?)

after this i try  -cvddc 875 in bat

Don't start at -cvvdc 875. All cards are different and yours may not be capable of going to core voltages that low. You could try with -cvddc 900 and then if it doesn't crash, slowly start lowering in increments of -5.

You are right. I have 6 GPU consumes 800 watts in dual mode mining. Even without the additional setting one GPU consumes about 150-180 watts. Where OP took about 800 watts I don't understand. It is unreal. I think that the OP has no towers. He had heard this information and not understood. Around mining a lot of fakes.

I have MSI Armor Oc rx570's with 4gb Elpida Memory.

I modded my bios with the 1500 Straps, undervolted to 900mv, TDP 75w, max power limit 100w.  Afterburner settings to -57mv, +15% power limit, 1128 core clock, 1750 mem.  They were hashing at 25-26 MH/s each with 88w at the wall each mining ETH.  One runs on the radeon mining drivers, the other doesn't (setup on two different computers).  I think the 570's are a bit tempermental compared to the 470's.  Not sure about the 580's.

You really need to mod the bios to get a better Hash rate to power consumption ratio.  For me I would rather hash at 26 MH/s at 88w compared to 28 MH/s at 150w.  @88w at the wall, the fans only run at like 25% so they are very quiet for in-house mining.  They operate at 56C right now.   Currently I'm mining on cryptonight algo at 735-740 H/s using the same bios setup because I was too lazy to reflash Smiley  1268 core, 1750 mem, 87-88w @ the wall.

yesterday my watt-o-meter at wall go down, so now i don't know the real wattage. But i take your good example and i'll try new configuration

with the new amd blockchain driver now i get 80mhs for 3 gpu. next step optimize power consumption

thank you again

rx 570 has 8pin connector and a 6pin connector, did you connect both? maybe i have to connect only 8 pin to reduce wattage?

i'm searching for info but google do not help me.

thank you guys

You must connect all the power connectors you have on the graphics card.

Thats not correct, my Sapphire RX 570 4gb run just fine with 8 pol power conmector no need for the additional 6 pol branch.
