Nothing. I would wait untill they're 500$ ea.

(approx 2years from now)

so with 1 bitcoin you'll buy a whole computer or something? maybe a big tv? it will be good if by then major retailers are accepting them directly.
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Would there be interest in buying Amazon and Newegg type items for slightly over their prices (3% for example) similar to precious metals?

I would like to hang on to my BitCoins and watch their value fluctuate, as if I had bought some NASDAQ stock.  But I hear that's bad for their valuation.  So is selling them off for RL cash, from what I've read.

I have very few bitcoins, and it becomes more difficult to mine them.

I wouldn't buy anything unless I start receiving income in bitcoins or they become expensive enough to buy something decent like a car or a house Smiley

If I start receiving salary or other significant income in bitcoins, then I would buy everything needed for life just like I do with fiat money. Though if I receive both fiat money and bitcoins, then I would spend fiat money first Smiley

I would buy a house

Bitcoins are the wrong thing for that. If you want a house you need to start with a red paperclip instead  Cheesy
