I was given a negative trust with a reason "shitposting scammer". I asked her/him but I got no respond. Now I wanna know what are the grounds to be given a negative trust and how reliable those people who give negative trusts to others. Are they evaluating someone else's posts thoroughly or do they just give negative trusts out of boredom?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

The negative trust was introduced to report and flag scammers to prevent other people from falling into the same trap. It is kind of like a rating system to separate the honest users from the scammers. If you were scammed and you could prove it, then you can flag these scammers with a negative trust.
The opposite is also true, because you want to highlight the trustworthy users on the forum with a positive rating.
Unfortunately a lot of people are misusing the trust system to punish users for personal vendettas or if they have received some negative comments from them. This influence people's behaviour, because they are hesitant to post something that might offend other users. <positive criticism, not blatant personal attacks>
Just ask this person politely to change their mind and try to resolve this situation without further conflict.

Same happened to me as well. I don't know what I did wrong. I always tried to help members through my replies.
How can I get my normal/positive trust back?

If your intentions to scam is clear and you get reported to admin I think is a good grounds for moderators and others to give you the negative trust you deserve in other to warn other traders from dealing with you.

Where it is spammed or written somewhere in the branches of the forum a message of a critical person. Perhaps also that someone has crossed the road

Thanks for this information, so the only one who could remove this negative trust is the one who put it? If anyone could give you a negative trust, this will be really bad since you can fight back by giving him a negative trust as well.

There are cases when trust system is misued for personal reasons or fighting competition in terms of offering bitcoin services. You can try appeal to some higher-up's here, but its hard and long thing without big chance of success.

I did. I already did. But I got no response. I believe I don't deserve that negative trust.

Of course! Especially when you are onto trading of bitcoins.
Hi chrmn27, I think the one who put a red tag on you is pertaining to this post. I'm fortunate I haven't receive a negative rating yet but sometimes I experience my post being deleted as it does not qualify to be a quality post or may have been irrelevant to the board which I have posted it. You can try to read the topic below. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.msg16958010#msg16958010I can't really answer what is relevant or what is not a relevant post but I think the content should be able to express your opinion with a supporting statement as to why it is your position. Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? Of course Bitcoin price Matter! This is especially true when you are into trading Bitcoins since the price at the time you acquire your Bitcoin directly affect your profit in the future. Lets take for example last December 2017, if you were able to acquire Bitcoin when the price is at $10,000 then sold it when the price hit around $19,000-$20,000, this will give you the optimum profit in trading. However if you acquired your bitcoin in December when the price is at $16,000 and you hold it until January 2018, when the price of Bitcoin dipped back to $10,000 you can say that you have experienced a loss. Thus, we can say that the price of Bitcoin is relevant and it matters particularly in Trading Bitcoin. The example above is one which try to expound your original thought or Idea. You can actually include trading of Altcoins in this to further provide impact of Bitcoin price in trading. I tried checking on the profile of the one who gave you a negative trust and he has this on his profile. "IF YOU HAVE RED TRUST: Improve your post quality within a week. Don't post on massive threads or threads that have no valuable discussion. This includes (but is not limited to) general threads such as "bitcoin is $x" or "gold or bitcoin?" etc. If you can do that then the tag will be removed. Generally, if it takes a minute per post (finding a thread and then posting) then you're shitposting." He/she is already a Legendary rank and might be one who tries to help regulate this forum. Good luck to us and More power.

Just want to share some story in connection to this, me and my friend created our account at the same day, our friend who introduce bitcointalk.org to us did not properly explain to us about the rules, because the thing we discuss with him is all about campaign, altocoins and digital wallet, he just wanted us to make posts for 30days for us to reach the Jr. Member rank and call him for the next move.
My other friend who created his account with me spend his posts in off topic, then After a week he gat his red trusts from the pharmacist saying that this account is purposely used to farm, trade with caution, bla bla bla,
I gat curios about it and open a lot of threads then I saw something relevant, so I keep reading, This are the advices I can also share with you which I read,
1. Don't spend too much post in off topic. 2. Make sure that your point when answering a thread is clear. 3. It's not necessary needed to answer every thread you see, specially when it is answered already by thousand of people, your answer maybe is the same with the answer of five people or more, you are now then reported for spamming. 4. If your unfamiliar with thread better not to answer. 5. If you have friends with high rank you can atleast ask their help to give you positive trust to eradicate the red one,.
I been reading for a while now this is my first post of the week, hope I did help you in anyway.
