Hi Guys,
My site now accepts Bitcoin for deposits, withdrawals and play. I'm a newbie, and relatively new to Bitcoin, here so this is the only forum I can post in. I won't spam the site name unless it's approved my the mods. Stakes go as low as 1/10000 BTC blinds (currently around 1c/2c). with SNGs and Tourneys also. It's a full featured client, not browser based. I'd like to get some players playing to try it out. Can do rake free for a period.

Hi,
It's been in testing for over a year, and is in the process of being launched for real money. But having recently gotten involved with Bitcoin and seeing all the benefits (low transaction costs, fast withdrawals, etc) it seemed like a no-brainer to put it in as a currency option. It's been surprisingly easy to integrate. I'm not sure what you mean by referral link, but anyway, the site is www.gridpoker.eu. Try it out. I'd be happy to offer 0.01 BTC to anyone who can find bugs, but really it's been hammered by the testers at this stage so I wouldn't envisage many issues being found apart from subjective usability features. I'd be really interested to get feedback from players. Deposits and withdrawals are fully integrated with the cashier, no need to refer to the web.

@TheVault,

Hi,

Not really a bug, but is this "Provably Fair" ?

I read the security part and I understand the decks are completely randomly shuffled. The minute you accept bitcoins, there are really smart people who don't care about third party credentials or accreditation by gambling commissions or licenses or whatever certifications are out there. They just want to see that the decks were indeed shuffled fairly.

Barring revealing all the cards, they are left with statistical analysis. I understand poker is a game where you might want to muck your cards or just fold.

But if you could prove (without much reason to doubt), during and after the game, that the game was fair, or had a mathematical certainty that it was as fair as it can get, is that something on the top of your list?

As far as I know, no poker site (bitcoin or fiat) can claim this.

And don't get me wrong, I will probably still play on your site, or at least test it. I'm not even a good poker player.

Wow, very nice.

I was expecting another one of the simple and plain sites.  I was wrong.

I haven't played any hands yet but just from signing up, clicking through options and opening tables and tournament lobbies I'm very impressed.

From what I can tell the client seems to run really quickly and smoothly.  And it looks like you have all the features players want - resizable tables, tile/cascade/stack tables button, preferred seating, sit out next BB button, sit out/in all tables, draw and chinese poker, and customizable table background/card colors.  And possibly even a "run it twice" option and synchronized breaks?

I can't speak to everything else yet but it looks great and professional.  It appears to be the best client of all the current Bitcoin poker sites.

I look forward to testing out the gameplay.

@Dabs
Not sure what you are asking for here? If you say the only way to verify randomness of the decks is to analyse hands, then you need access to a hand tracking database of some sort?

@WearsMyLiberty
Glad you like the client Smiley Yes, all the usual options are there that players come to expect from a poker client. Chinese and Chinese Open Face games are available but the tables haven't been created for them. I was looking to see what kind of demand there is for these games first. Breaks are 5 mins to the hour and run it twice for flop games is in but might not be enabled for the current tables.

All ring games are 1% rake capped at 1 SB or BB depending on the number of players in the hand.

Could someone check the process of depositing and withdrawals of bitcoin just to see if it makes sense? I think there is a 0.001 BTC min as set by the wallet software.

I don't suppose its really a bug, but the only problem I've found as far as menu navigation goes is that when you select a player in the lobby, it gets highlighted white, which makes it completely disappear.

Apart from that, everything is really smooth and looking spiffy. I leave some more feedback after I play in the freeroll later on today. Smiley

I tried depositing .01 BTC to test it out.

The set up you have seems right.  The cashier page is clean and the process is simple.  A QR code would be a nice addition but isn't necessary.

It's been a couple hours and 9 confirmations so far though and it hasn't shown up in the cashier yet.
