I bought lots of bitcoins when BTC was at 2K$/BTC...
If I didn't spend most of them I could now be RICH! (or even millonaire)

Don't act like me and try to keep the invests as long as possible, I could have earned LOTS of $ but I earned about 500$ instead.
I can't be angry with myself as I didn't lose anything, but I didn't earn as much as I could have earned.

You do realise if no one was spending and everyone was sitting on their coins, bitcoin would be worth zero and only few guys would know about it? If not for you (and others) who were actively using bitcoins, it wouldn't get to where it is right now.

And if you've spent most of it, then it clearly wasn't a long term investment for you. So it's just another case of "would've, should've, could've". There isn't a single person who didn't miss out on great opportunities to get filthy rich. Whenever you bring a subject of Bitcoin in public, there's always at least 1 guy with "Maaan, I was so close to buying bitcoins in 2010 but I didn't, I would be billionaire today" story.

Don't beat yourself up over this, life goes on.
I don't think so if many people are holding there Bitcoin then the process of increasing the price of it is happening as no one is budging to sell there Bitcoin at that price level. But everytime there is a price increase you know that someone will be willing to take the offer when the price is right. That is how trading works if the supply is being hold by the owners of the crypto eventually many buyers don't have any choice but to increase there offer to make it more attractive to the sellers.

Have a nice day

Well, you're story and your confession here in the Bitcointalk forum is a good lesson for us. Well, Bitcoin earning is needed. And i know that many of us wanted to have 20BTC. This is a big big money for us and we can't afford to buy 20BTC for real. I hope that many people will inspire to be an Bitcoin millionaire because of you. Hardwork and patience is our need to have a lot of bitcoins in our wallet.

The good old bitcoin millionaire dream. Majority of people did not become rich through bitcoin like me since we never knew about the crypto world and only heard bits and pieces about bitcoin here and there which we dismissed lightly since it seemed like a bunch of hogwash back then. I seriously started looking into bitcoin and the crypto world sometimes during the middle of last year.

Observed that bitcoin price was around $800, but could not afford to buy any at that point of time and the rest is history. No point looking back at the past. Better to focus on earning bitcoins and HODLING them for the future.

I'm only short trading in bitcoin and I didn't expect the price will skyrocket that time and I could earned big profit if I going to hold my bitcoin, well bitcoin price is unpredictable but don't worry there are some potential altcoin out there that we can invest skyrocket like bitcoin.

I think most of us have made similar mistakes because this market is so new and disruptive that nobody ever imagined that a revolutionary and idealistic experiment would reach this point, but fortunately we are still at a very early stage and there is still enough time to recover those not capitalized profits.

Yes, you could be millionaire at that time if you earned that all. If you don't spend the money and save it you will be rich. Don't be mad on that mistake because we cannot predict what's going to happen tomorrow. So continue working here to earn again a Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is in the dip right now. Don’t you want to invest again? Today is the chance to buy more Bitcoins. You can still be a millionaire if you try again. Just play it smart and safe.

I do not have enough money to buy Bitcoin even when it was at 2,000 US Dollar. I planned to buy at that price though. Now, I’m doing my best in participating bounty campaigns, hoping I will get big amount of Bitcoin by doing this.

Yep, I regret sometimes that I have missed to buy bitcoin when she was at $2000, I use to invest in some share's instead of invested in bitcoin since at that time I don't have much knowledge and understanding of bitcoin and it's concept. Now I know about the concept and the growth of bitcoin but not able to buy even one, but bought some 0.01 and expecting to buy some more.

I stumbled across bitcoin somewhere in 2009/2010 and I could have bought it for about $0.10. But unfortunately I didn't.
I did install the mining software which at that point would have made me a few BTC each day, but I never actually started it.

Haha so you were more advances that I was. I found out about bitcoin around 2009 reading some article in a magazine and I figured out I should buy some.  I can remember finding a block explorer and looking at the transactions happening worldwide at that time. But I couldn't figure how to buy it so I eventually did not Smiley

In hindsight a lot of probably have a story that we nearly invested in it when it was much lower than it is now or we had a friend or relative pestering us about it but we didnt invest then, but in reality i think a lot of us would have sold at much lower than its peak. Imagine having 1000 bitcoins you bought at cents and then it hits 5k... thats half a million right there i dont think the majority of people would have held out for it too reach its peaks but fair play to the ones that have as they must be rolling in cash right now!

I spend most of my investment for things I needed and going out when I should have bought and kept Bitcoin I would have been rich too. Sad The thing is I might have been like you and bought the Bitcoin and spent too many of them. Noone can say if the price will go up.

It seems human nature to keep torturing ourselves with "what-ifs"! I too can tell a many woeful story of how I sold out early with several altcoins and Bitcoin but at least I know about it and the revolution which is happening.

Sharing this kind of story with a lesson on it is a vert nice and interesting way to educate other base on experience. Although they say that experience is the best teacher, what I think is that you don't have to do or encounter just to learn rather also learn from others story.
Now, in your case, just be thankful after all that you have experienced that kind of pain in losing, at least for now you will be more wise when and when to spend bitcoin

I began to fix bitcoins into fiat at the BTC price 3000$ but fortunately I fixed 2 BTC only (in the price range 3000-6000$). On the other hand fixing in fiat is also good - in this case you gain profit anyway (even small profit).
