Hi everyone! I've been reading all the top altcoin discussions and blockchain news around 4 or 5 months. Now I feel like I'm ready to get some practice Cool

My friend knows a bit more in trading, so we decided to invest together from the start. In February we plan to spend around $10k to buy different tokens. The same in March. We don't plan to get "easy money" or something like that, so we will reject any spammy or overadvertised projects. Projects with huge pre-sale discounts will be also rejected.

We're looking for long-term projects aimed to change some existing industry with blockchain. I'm gonna to check every project mentioned in the newsfeed, in this topic, and in every trustworthy list like ICOrating. For now we decided to start from Telecom and Marketing Automation areas.

Of course we all do our own researches. However, I believe that together we will be able to guard ourselves from scam/crap and find real brilliants in blockchain ocean.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Selected for February (Feb 9th)
1 https://bubbletone.io — Graphene smarcontracts aimed to eliminate mobile roaming fees. The same phone number around the world. Mobile tarification by local prices anywhere. Working prototype, strong team. Dublin, Ireland.
2 http://grain.io — simplifying smartcontracts for work agreements
3 https://remme.io — unbreakable, foolproof user authentication to protect your users, employees, and company’s data from cyber attacks.
4 https://www.policypal.network — Insurance for the Unbanked and Cryptoassets.

Don't be quite if you see a suspiciuous one!
Hi, personally, I don’t like advertising. I think it shows desperation and attracts token hunters, not natural buyers.

Selected for March
Global economy
1 TON cryptocurrency. WP: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oaKoJDWvhtlvtQEuqxgfkUHcI5np1t5Q/view
2 https://omnitude.tech/ — helps to evolve mass adoption of cryptocurrencies
3 https://www.globalicofund.com — interesting whitepaper, but doubtful token
4 http://basisneuro.com/ — neurointerfaces. Just interesting concept for future

Data simplification
https://daneel.io — helps with trading decision making

Declined (let us know if we're wrong!)
1 https://qlink.mobi/ — Decentralized Mobile Network. This is a mix of several services, including new cryptocurrency. Seems unfocused.
2 Tutellius.io — great concept, poor tokensale model. We won't participate in any tokensale with such a big presale discount
3 https://experty.io/ — the app aimed to monetize expert's time and efforts. More than just marketplace. Great concept also, but we don't believe in business model
4 https://valid.global/ — control on your personal data. We don't think the business model is viable
5 https://vinchain.io/ The whole Truth about a Vehicle’s History on a Blockchain. The model is not viable (opinion)
6 NTOK.io — Blockchain online education platform. Idea is great but business model doesn't seem viable
7 https://adhive.tv — Marketing. AI-controlled influencer marketing platform. This is great, but mixes 2 young technologies. We think it's better to choose: AI or blockchain?
8 https://www.gilgameshplatform.com — a self-governing, knowledge-sharing social network platform powered by Ethereum smart contracts. Great concept. Too far from business reality imo.
9 https://www.wepower.network/ (EU), https://hydrocoin.org/ (EU), https://kwhcoin.com/ (US, CA) — green energy trading platforms. All the green energy trading are being considered as too risky for now because of the lack of viable usecases.
10 https://www.arcblock.io/ — overadvertised, scam accusations
11 IQeon — not clear blockhain usage. Promises of income in fiat money while remain anonimity
12 https://www.sooloox.com/ — Monetizing customer's data. We concluded that customer's data is already stolen by global corporations, nobody is interested to buy it.
13 Aktie.Social, Fabric, ClearCoin, Gonetwork — we don't invest in spammy advertised projects
14 https://token.gimmer.net/ — trading automation. It's just one more Telegram bot for trading
15 www.aitheon.com — The digital ecosystem simplifying your world through A.I., robotic, and human symbiosis. The problem exists only in imagination of some people. We don't think the projects is meaningful
16 https://en.worldwifi.io/ (Singapore), https://iungo.network/ (Estonia, EU) — Free WiFi Powered by blockchain. Share Wi-Fi, Earn tokens, see spammy ads in order to use WiFi for free. We don't think the business model is viable. Spammy ads are from the past. The future is about seamless native advertising integrations
17 https://blocksims.io/ — free mobile services. The same spammy ads model.

OMG why there's so much advertising? I thought people come here to discuss good ICO and not just spam their links left and right Sad
What would you expect? Perfectly normal to me, admins do their job and analyze all of it to give their opinion to us who are looking for good ICOs to invest. This is the very purpose of this thread as I see it. What's wrong with advertising? To me it's just a name of the project to study yourself and see if it's worth it....

I would recommend that you buy the SMT tokens. SocialMedia.Market’s core functionality will be maintained by a utility token - Social Media Token (SMT). Every platform activity will require SMTs to ensure transactions, campaign or contract creation and data validity.

I see your point, guys.

And still marketing is a 100% need for a good project, being dependent (to bigger or lesser extent with every particular ICO) on fundraising results with the speed of their future development and success of their future marketing activities to promote the product.

It's a myth that a good idea will find it's way to life no matter what. Money matters.

I agree, good project sold out and scam project sold out are two completely different outcomes, but don't blame marketing, it's just a spoon, it doesn't make you fat... you know...

If you are out to seek for NO MARKETING ICO, you really should check bubbletone. It perfectly suits your criteria - virtually no marketing at all with a perfect technical idea and bright future. Have no idea how these guys have it as #1 on their list, probably because they really see the seeds.

I'm gonna buy Thrivelabs tokens. It's decentralised ad marketplace

The top-new ICO for 2018 will be DragonCoin, I suggest you read the technical document. I'm sure you will understand when you read the document. Good luck.

They decided to launch a really colossal ICO for as much as 407 million dollars, and this, for a minute, is the largest ICO ever!

Although the project exists only recently, the leaders have already managed to establish serious ties with the major players who organize VIP pools for casino games, or Junket - institutions with very few guests, each of whom has an individual approach.

You ask what is Dragon Coin

Each player, going to any gaming portal asks a question - will not they deceive me, will I get my winnings? These issues are fundamental for the entire gaming industry for more than one century. In the conditions of playing for big money in Macau, there is another problem - large commissions, from which the operators of such games literally suffer, as well as the players themselves. The commission is 5-7%.

To solve these problems, Dragon Coin was created - the first crypto currency for gambling establishments and players, which will make this sphere transparent for all parties.

With regard to commissions, thanks to the technology of the block, a significant reduction in costs is achieved, regardless of the amounts that players and organizers operate. As a result, costs are reduced to only 1%, instead of the usual 5%.

i absolutely agree with the previous post. unfortunately no matter how potential the project is, if it's not advertised, it won't become successful. although there are so many projects which are totally not worth advertising and mentioning at all.

yes, i agree with you. i am also interested in amon ico. such products will be very useful in future, cause i am sure people are going to use crypto in the very same way as fiat money.
and i would also recommend gonetwork ico, the winners of the world's largest hackathon 2017. it's very potential and promising, you'd better consider participating in this project, if you want to gain nice profit out of investing in ico

gonetwork this is a controversial project for investment:
1. the team does not know when to start ico.
2. they want to make a Dutch auction... That is, the team wants to collect 100-500 million dollars! This is a huge minus.

agree, it seems like gonetwork team don't know what they want. of course, the fact that they won ETHWaterloo is great, but right now there is no information about the dates, no whitepaper (they say they are making some changes in it). it can play a bad card with them.

Hi,

Have you checked out Knowledge.io? I've read the whitepaper myself, gone through all the info I've got my hands on and even had a few chats with the developers and product heads through their public telegram group. So far everything checks out for me in terms of product idea, a team capable of carrying out the project to fruition and they even have working prototype apps you can download on the IOS appstore to see one of the many facets in their ecosystem.

The main problem it seems they are trying to tackle is decentralising advertising, and not just in the way BAT/Brave Browser is trying to do which is only in tracking user attention/engagement with ads; knowledge.io is attempting to create an entirely new ecosystem for advertisers to directly engage consumers by asking consumers questions. The consumers get rewarded for participating in these Q&Ads and the Advertisers get direct targeted information. This would create entirely new datasets unique from what the rest of the advertising world has and when done right will help advertisers to target consumers more accurately than say Google or Facebook.

Hope you guys check it out, lemme know what you think!

Thanks, sounds interesting
