🔵 Experiment: Turn $1000 into $100.000 [current value: X]

Hey Bitcointalk fellows.

I want to try something. I'll deposit $1000 into X exchange and try to transform them into $100.000 untill summer.

What will happen really interesting, is that over the entire duration I will post publicly the actions I will take to reach my goal.

Will give you an example:

Action taken: Bought X / Sold X (x = number of coins) CND (Cindicator - link coinmarketcap)
Position: Market (can be limit, stoploss, margin etc)
Exchange: Binane (example)

Each action will be numbered.

START - 23.01.2018

This is the best time to start a project like this, while the market is contracting.
Ok it might contract a little more but in 4, 5 or 6 months that 1000$ will have expanded considerably.
If we take the total crypto market cap on the 8th of January which was over 830,000,000,000$ it is feasable we can see that again.
So if the OP plays the game well and is able to advantage of the expanding markets he should meet his target,
even half that target will be a nice achievement.

Depends on how quickly you expect a recovery, no matter what turning 1000 into 100 is far more likely than turning 1000 into 100,000 which is a x100 gain.  If this is a bear market and not a correction which the longer it goes on the more I suspect it is, he will be doing good to get any gains.  Assuming it's not and the cap goes back to 800 billion, that's still not enough to get him a 100 gain on it's own without spectacular investment choices.

If it was that easy to be making 100k from 1k everyone would be doing it.  I made 1500% profit from 2k and I got incredibly lucky buying and selling at near peaks. +-20% and I'm mostly out into FIAT now.  That was with insane marketcap growth which I don't think we're going to see for a long time.

You have a great idea. I respect people who know how to act and not just dream about how to get rich. If you started actively moving towards a dream, then you will definitely achieve success. I also invested in coins at the beginning of the year to track their performance as well)) I wish you luck.

Agreed. Periods like the one we re currently in seem like enticing entry points to the market. To OP, monitor the total market cap if you havent went in yet. A swing below 500 may seem a further decline down. Confirm the reversal before putting money in. You wont get the best price possible but you wont get screwed more either.

Exactly 1000 isnt much money. You must bet on max three really cheap coins and pray, that they will make x10 profit. Then put them on something more serious.

its just like a deram. Believe me crypto is not such get-rich-quick scheme & its possible to loss your 1000$ too . but I respect to you.
its better to make your plan more realistically. first 1000$ to 2000$ then double that Continuously

I think it’s an interesting experiment. Is your plan to to try to find one coin to do a 100x (very risky) or find a coin that will do 3x-5x, take profit and put money into 3 other couns for 3x etc. I think it is doable but 6 months is not a lot of time. You don’t want to make dumb moves and take unmeasured risks because of an arbitrary timeline.

I basically do the same but with a bigger capital and with a lot more coins.  I collect earnings from the winners plus the capital and re-invest to a new coin and just keep repeating it.  I do leave enough coin in case it continues to grow...this is the reason why I have 35 or so coins

The x100 is a bit lofty...even with luck, it will probably take you a few years.

In 6 months, I got up to x7 but currently down to x4.5 (market dip).  I am still extremely happy with this but do miss the x7   My ongoing personal challenge is to beat my portfolio ATH.  I think it is more fun that way than setting a hard $$$ value.

I have a similar strategy, though am up to 94 assets now. 

I've gotten there by following the "asymmetrical bet" style ($100 into 10 assets to begin).  When one hits 5X, take out initial investment + X amount, then put it into other projects in a similar way.  I do all of my trading with taxes / capital gains in mind.

You can no doubt choose 1 project with upcoming release rumours to find quick 15 - 50% returns if you wish to get your capital on the move quickly.  Check out one of the "coin calendars" that provide info on who is doing what in Feb to get a headstart of the crowd.

I'll be following this thread to see how your strategy works.

You will have to be really really lucky if you want to reach $100000!
Basically you have to invest in the right coin at the right time.
I think your chances would be higher if you invested in the right ICO!
