Maybe its not that useless, but I do respect your opinion. Based on your experience maybe it's justified to say that. While as you claimed it's useless many of whom that I have known have really been so happy with bitcoins after they have success on investing with bitcoins.

Bitcoin is useless if you dont know what it is and how to use and earn it.If you are ignorant about bitcoin so it might be useless but to those people who earn bitcoim for good like me really find it very usefull at all.It really helps alot with regards to our financial problems and also it is really good for long term investment as well.

I am amazed with number of people being fooled with BTC:

1. Transactions takes hours
2. Fees are high
3. Development team sucks, uncapable solve scalability issues for years
4. Its not anonymous, every solution to make it, failed so far
5. Its centralized: who is biggest hash power owner? Who is biggest miner hardware provider? Who owns most of bitcoins? What is % of Bitcoins in coldstorage and what in exchanges ( Ye Mt Gox )
6. There is 0 economics for BTC, it just tight to USD with liquidity providers, cut that and try to value pizza box with just BTC
7. Its not store of value, its not digital gold, and it will never be 100k USD. Because it has no value. It has value only for energy probiders, hardware manufactures and random phils.
8. Its not insured, If some crap happened to your BTC, its gone.
9. Bitcoin has a limited supply, but it does not help much. Bitcoin has a code that can be amended and its enough of small group of people to work together to support that. Question really is: do someone need that hassle? No really. Bitcoin has satoshis, that currently meaningless and just nice numbers after dot, but this a very well painless way to inflate any crypto currency and its up to liquidity providers. It really depends on how you are using your bitcoin because if you will just using your bitcoin as an investment then i think that it is not useless and bitcoin will be just useless if you will use it for daily transaction because the transaction fees will eat you out because it is expensive compare to other coins and the technology of bitcoin is getting older.

Well, yes we strongly respect whatever  comments posted here but some would insist like me that bitcoin is never useless since it has been helping a lot of people earn big amount of money. You only viewed disadvantages of it for the system. You did not observed the benefit for the many, which is all the bitcoin users. All bitcoin users get a money out of it, just by this, we can consider bitcoin is useful.

I agree with #1-#4, but #5-#8 are a stretch.

Except for points 1 and 2, which states that the fees are high and transactions takes hours everything else is false, the devs are the best in the entire crypto scene, bitcoin was never supposed to be anonymous and this was just the assumption of people not really informed about the market, everything else is just a stretch of the truth or a lie trying to FUD bitcoin owners to sell their coins but it is not going to work.

For me,  Bitcoin was starting to look useless and my reasons for saying so are same as the reasons stated by the op– Transactions take time (up to hours), we pay high fees for transaction,  but it is still slow. There is no need to mention the other reasons,  cause it has already been mentioned by the op. There are lots of coins out there that are worth investing than bitcoin,  but people are neglecting them cause they see bitcoin as the first.

Probably the real use of bitcoin yet to be unveiled as people are not yet using it as a currency. When people will be using bitcoin for their daily life then we can find how much it will be useful and many more applications could be developed based on bitcoin payment system. But definitely it will take more time because a right now people are preferring to use bitcoin only as an investment instead of traditional assets.

I agree with you in every point. Every one of them is true. You cant use them as what they inventet for: As a Currencie to pay. So bitcoin is at the moment just a speculation business. Maybe with the lightning update the network will be better and faster, but this need a lot of time, and i really dont know if bitcoin can wait this long time. I personal like Bitcoin. If you think Bitcoin is not right for you. There are other alternative coins out there with cheap transaction fee.

I absolutely like Bitcoin no matter what! Bitcoin is important as far i know because of a good currency and legally crypto...since i start use bitcoin i considered that bitcoin is my special Job.
