Hi there,

I have noted that many websites of the bitcoin sphere are unsecured: my browser often shows warning messages.

Did you note that ? It is something I worry about.

I think you have a problem with your browser.

Not a problem with the browser I think. It just mean that many of these sites don't have signed certificate.

Which sites give you a warning?

I've seen a few self-signed certificates. Bitcoin users are more familiar with cryptography, and are therefore more likely to enable HTTPS without buying a "real" certificate. Bitcoin.org itself is self-signed.

Example: http://bitcoinlaundry.com/
http://www.bitcoin.fr/
http://blockexplorer.com/

The warning appears on both Firefox and Chrome... Never had the problem before, with ordinary websites

Two of those sites aren't even providing HTTPS. It must be a problem with your browser. What does the error message say?

I`m not sure what you mean.
Please specify what you were doing and what these warning messages told you, best is to make screenshots.

I think crema has a problem with his browser because he gets warnings visiting https://bitcoin-central.net/ even though my certificate is properly signed by my certification authority.

Ok, the warning comes from zone alarm check point, not from the browser itself.
