Which code did you fork for your coin? Did you make any tweaks to your own code or are you trying to launch a completely unmodified version?

the code is here:
https://github.com/stellitecoin/Stellite/commits/master

it's forked from monero (although it's not shown in github's fork network). it doesn't yet show any "real code" commits other than minor tweaks to readme.

It has already launched. We are a fork of Electroneum, but with a few tweaks. There will be many more tweaks in the future.

Interesting project.

If the developers play their cards right and show that they are serious about this it can get big.

The network hashrate already shows a lot of interest.

Hey guys lets get this coin moving. Until Stellite makes it on an exchange, anyone can buy and sell STL through the escrow service in their discord. Only a small fee and it goes to the DEV team.  Grin

Will there be a coin burn sometime in the future because 21b is quite a lot in my book

The total supply doesn't matter if you're worried about making money on this coin. What matters is the market cap. Also, their goal is to have their coins in the hands of as many people as possible so 21 billion is a reasonable amount so that they don't become so rare that people cannot get their hands on them.
We'll see about that. 21 billion for a POW crypto is a lot. But at least it's less than Bytecoin. That's a win in my other book Grin

21 billion really isn't as much as it seems when you consider most other cryptos are spendable up to 8 decimals deep, whereas this coin is only spendable up to two decimals deep.

Download cli wallet from first post, start daemon, start wallet cli, let it sync and input your private key. That's all. You can type -help for available commands or -balance to check your balance.
