I've brainstormed this a bit, and I'll try to pump out something soon.  AKA, please don't close the contest without warning. 

Ok - I think we'll run this for another 48hrs and then close it. We'll have a new client soon and I want to include the new logo, so get your entries in before 48hrs from the date of this post.

n.b. we've had some crazies attacking MemoryCoin and me personally in the past few days - they might show up here. Please ignore them.

The MemoryCoin price has suffered in the past few days, so i want to be clear about the prize fund - MCF is holding funds in Bitcoin to meet it.

Thanks! I really like this one. The symbol suggests memory chips, and is solid and strong. The green color is the color of money and also of memory chips. I like this one a lot.

Here's my submission. I went for more of a focus on the brain wallet aspect in terms of memory as that's a feature you want to highlight in the future. The primary image is contrasted using circuitry with a fading gradient for the hardware aspect of cryptocoins. I tried to keep it simple without clutter or distractions.

If interested I'm able to change anything to fit exactly what you're looking for, and not what I think it should look like.

Thanks - I like the idea and symbolism of a memory key - but I think the execution falls a bit short . . I think you'd need to merge the brain and key in some way to simplify the concept . . putting the key in the empty space of a brain is a bit too basic.

I'm just conflicted here.  I tried to follow all your input in the thread, but I just have no idea what you want.  You want simplicity, but also something that captures your imagination.  To me that can't be done without more detail, but you have made it clear you don't want detail.  Bah.

I'll try to think of something else.

Edit:  Eh, never mind.  I would just go with muddied's stuff personally.  In particular his last logo seems to be the cleanest and most iconic.

Ok, the 48 hours has expired and the competition is closed. This is the winner. It's simple, strong, symbolic, clear and memorable. I think we've got one of the best alt coin logos here.
