Imagine there's a new project launched related to cryptocurrency. Say that projects name is DREAM and its coin is DRM. So the developers of that coin to increase their community and get the support of the investors and people send free coins to them by airdrops. You just have to follow simple rules such as joining social media groups and fill the google airdrop form and wait for the team to send those tokens to the address that you filled in the form.
It is a marketing strategy chosen by mostly all the new launching projects.

Isn't it similar to Bounty campaign of ICO? So what makes Airdrop different than Bounty campaigns? Some people claim that Airdrop pays better
Yes, Airdrop is a bounty campaign similar to signature and social media campaigns. To get paid in airdrop like in Twitter you need to complete simple task like follow, re-tweet and etc. Unlike signature and social media campaigns. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to register on airdrops. Some airdrops are good paying but for me signature and social media campaigns pays better.

Please someone tell me about Airdrops, what is it and how one can participate to earn tokens. Thanks
from my experience, airdrop a form of campaign that prioritizes work with simple, because only once work and menunuggu token, but you can know by simple work like that we get token or small payment.
sometimes to follow the airdrop campaign you have to fill out the form on the website, by commenting on the airdrop thread and others ..
