These are known as ponzi scams, do NOT participate in HYIP and doubler "opportunities", often they will pay out if you get in and out early enough, but after some time they become unsustainable and then will exit with a large amount, actualizing the scam.

I have know a lot of people doing this, and most of them didn't succeed,it always end up in scams especially when they put the collected money into gambling. Not everday you can win the sites, expect a lose after every win.if you are the roller and you lose the money you collected can you declare it to your investors?would they believe you?what will happen to you soon?they will call you scammer (not if both side had mode of agreement) and what will happen to them.they lose.

Oh, I don't think it's a gamble at all.
I think it's a hoax.
Your friend only needs to finally tell you that failure, then you will lose your bitcoin.
Because you don't know the process.
It just needs to tell you that gambling has failed.

Sounds like a big gamble.  Grin
Prepare yourself for a big loss too and I recommend for you to have a big trust on that person since he is gambling you bitcoin.
BTW,  how would you know if he is good in gambling?  Will there be like statistics of his wins and losses?

So here I have a friend who's inviting me here on the said gambling investment. It's just simple, you'll send your bitcoin (investment on any amount) on that person then he's going to play using the money collected. After 7 days,  your investment will be doubled and the money will be sent back to you after deducting the trans fee. There is a chance of losing but if your money loses, you'll. Be given a 10% refund.

Someone already tried this? Safe or not??

The idea does not seem trustworthy witha a random dude. If it's a friend that's propsing you that you can give it a shot but the idea of giving someone money and hoping they won't loose the does not look ok.

I don't know if this can be called gambling.
I might think this is a scam.
You have no idea what your friend did with your bitcoins.
He only needs to tell you that gambling has failed.
Then your bitcoin will be lost.

First you need to know if your friend's gambling investment is legit because there is still a chance that it is a scam. You did not even know the details of the gambling investment. But if you trust your friend and you want to take risk then your invested bitcoin can be doubled. There is still many ways to invest your bitcoin that is not risky and can earn more bitcoin. It is your choice.

Its a huge risk. Youre not directly involved in controlling your money.  Its just like shootng an apple while riding a saddle while being blindfolded.
Investing itself is risky, evenso letting other people manage your investments without further knowledge on how they will manage your funds is on a whole new level of risk.

I like the idea. So let's assume, 100 people each of them send me 1 BTC. To hide my scam attempt, I will give 10 people their share like they win. I will tell remaining people I failed so I will refund 0.1 BTC to each of them.

100-(10x2+90x0.1)=71 BTC . I would be a rich scammer.

I can't believe how people can send someone any money so he can play gamble.

i think that definition depends on how you earn money and use it, as an example, if you earn bitcoin from gambling but keep using that reward for playing bigger gambling but based on a lucky game, then it is not investing. Investing is using your money to earn more money from what we have then keep using the profit we have to do the bigger investments with thoughts, evaluating, timing and making decision to invest in bitcoin.

For me is a scam too, if you want to gamble, do with yourself don't be intermediary of someone else. That is your money or your bitcoin, you should have a way to get profitt. Espesially in the world of cryptocurrency it will be very safe if all the ways to gain profit are done by yourself, certainly to avoid like a scam, ponzi and the other.

Crypto currency is a very interesting topic and I believe that this is the future, but because of the HYIP, which is now around, there are a lot of scammers and "experts" in this area, whose purpose is to get your money. It is not necessary to give money to such people, it is better to start studying crypto-currencies

I think you are talking about ponzis here. Ponzis are usually run by a person who collects the money and tries to invest in some places, if he gets a good return, he will share the profit with the investors and if he doesn't, he will simply run away. Unless you know that person personally, don't expect to receive even 10% refund. This is the riskiest investment for any market, be it crypto or fiat. So if anyone is trying to pull funds in the name of gambling investment, you should report that in "Scam Accusations" sub-forum so that a proper action can be taken against such people. Please note, that bitcointalk doesn't support such kind of activities here.

thank you for the info, recently I asked them a few questions on how would the gambling go, or should i say "how will our money will get doubled?" he keeps on telling me that its just gambling and it is as simple as playing using his luck. Now I'm more enlightened on what maybe the possible outcome of this such business after a few months or maybe just weeks? btw Im here just to ask for opinions about this investment. nothing to complain about

All types of gambling is not safe. I suggest, if you really want to try gambling investment, try to come with your friend beforehand and study how their gambling works, what type of gambling will occur. See if you think that it's an easy money for your supposed friend, if it is and if he really is your friend that you can trust with all your heart then go for it. But if not, you better prepare yourself, congratulations you got yourself a fake friend.

If you  been lure into this then you aren't thinking clearly, why should you believe your money to the gambler, if the person is a great gambler he won't need any of your money, because if you keep on winning you can easily multiply your money, and the 10% refund is a fake, there will be  a time  he will said that he got no money to pay you

I feel unsafe, I doubt gambling because we will not always win in every gambling. better to trade and follow the bounty campaign because the possibility of gaining a huge profit than to follow gambling.
