Hey -
just wanted to ask a really simple question: How do you guys keep up to date with knowledge regarding blockchain?
Can you recommend specific sites that explain in detail how bitcoin works? What is a blockchain? What is an orphan block? etc. (do not answer these questions here, I know the answer Wink ).

I just wanted to know if you have good websites that really go into the technical part.

Any post/help is appreciated Smiley

Hi Tiglis,
This e-book is a good starting point > http://d28rh4a8wq0iu5.cloudfront.net/bitcointech/readings/princeton_bitcoin_book.pdf
it is 300 pages long, if you can read half of it I am sure you'll know more about blockchain and bitcoin than 99% of the forum  Wink
otherwise Youtube is a good alternative, I recommend the channel of Ivan On Tech (Swedish guy making very interesting videos).

In general, I buy books to learn about block chain knowledge.
If you are a technician, you can see the source code of each token, so you can learn a lot from it. Grin

There are many websites which I am personally using for gaining knowledge about bitcoin and blockchain related information and facts. The first website is this forum itself Bitcointalk.org which I use daily and try to be active here so that i don't miss some important information and data.Apart from this website i also follow other websites like Bitcoin.com, Bitcoin.org, Cryptocoinnews.com, Cointelegraph.com, and coindesk where i get all the latest news and information regarding the cryptocurrency and blockchain and i also stay active here to get some trading and investing ideas.

The best source of knowledge whether its related to Bitcoin, Blockchain or anything else is books. Reading them with complete concentration and focused attention will help you learn about anything you desire. I would like to recommend you some books that may help you to learn about Blockchain, Bitcoin, and other related stuff.

The following books have been recommended by experts to learn about Bitcoin, Blockchain, and other stuff related to the former subjects.

1. Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open Blockchain 2nd Edition:- This one is the best book recommended to learn deeply about Blockchain and Bitcoin.

2. The Business Blockchain This is also one of the recommended books by experts.

3. The Age of Cryptocurrency This one is another amazing book for everyone who want to know the crypto-world.

4. Blockchain: Blueprint for a New Economy This one might help you in areas that others might not help.

The above books are best to learn almost everything about Blockchain, Bitcoin, and to some extent about other cryptos as well, but you should read them chapter by chapter in order to gain enough knowledge about the subjects. You can also try watching some professional "Lynda's" courses to learn about the subjects but still keep your self busy with the books as they are precious gems of information.

You should also read crypto news daily to keep your self updated about the new information. Also check coinmarketcap   daily for updated prices, values, and market volume of the cryptos.
