The price of 1XRP will appreciate but $100 is not realistic in 2018 but it may get to $100 in the next three years. the cryptocurrency market is facing a lot of opposition this year.

No, it will not.
The market cap of ripple would exceed 3 trillion USD.
The whole cryptomarket's market cap is around 0,3 trillion USD.
100$ ripple would be really unreal, the market would increase more than 10x in a year, and every other coin's value would stay the same (which is highly unlikely).
Also, ripple is mainly used for transactions. Low price is desirable.
So no, 100$ ripple won't happen.

$100 seems way to much at the moment, i think the realistic target for xrp this year can be around $10-$15, even for this target to reach the xrp and overall crypto volume should grow very big in coming months.
In fact, xrp has long lost its relevance. Many investors are not interested in xrp. I do not think that the price will jump so much this year. |

At present, the price of XRP is less than $1, so how can it get $100 by the end of 2018. I think that it is highly unlikely. It wouldn't go that far.

This is a completely pointless thread. $100 XRP would be ~4 trillion dollar market cap. At this rate we'll be lucky if the entire crypto market cap finishes the year between 1-2 trillion. 4 trillion for the entire market would still be massive. But for a single (mostly hated and centralized coin) to have that is literally impossible.

Not a chance that XRP will reach even $10 in 2018. You should check the total market cap of a coin not the value of a single coin...
You're right that market cap is the important thing, but I think there is certainly a chance that XRP could hit $10 this year. It already hit $3 in January, and we still have 10 months to go. There is a lot of good news about Ripple, it seems almost daily. Particularly with xRapid, which is the Ripple solution that absolutely requires use of the XRP token. I wouldn't be hugely surprised if XRP became number one in market cap. It may happen, it may not... but it is certainly possible. But $100 does seem extremely unlikely. |

Quite funny though, dude you need to do the marketcap calculations before you conclude,the whole crypto market is not up to a trillion dollar and you are speculating on ripple being $100/ coin, lol

how can that be? Currently there are 40 billion XRP circulating in the market. And if the price of 100$ / 1XRP, its market capitalization will be 4000 billion. If so then the bitcoin price will go up 1 million. It can not be

I think that is just FUD to reduce the value of XRP. I can predict the price of XRP at the end of 2018 which is $ 5. I am very confident in their business ideas and technology. XRP is considered to be a very big corporation at the moment. I highly appreciate its cooperation with major banks in the world. |

$100 with high supply i think it is so hard. just to be thinking of realistic here, perhaps max they will reach $5 in this year. to be honest, i'm also a fan of ripple (XRP) but to reach $100 in this year perhaps you should are dreaming.

Or maybe it wont happen at all, this speculations are too good to be true, the value of xrp vs the numbers of coins needs a lots of money, it can happen if banks will truly adopt the system and they played it to pumped the value. but nonetheless that amount is really a big speculations that needed to be funded by a huge investors. |

I wonder if it's possible at all. 100 $ in 2018? It would have to be some crazy year for this currency. Xrp can, for now, dream about achieving a new ATH. With such a large circulating supply, you have to wait for such a large increase for a long time.

It is not possible in any way to reach that much with 100 billion total supply or 39+ billion in circulating supply. Ripple can reach up to $10 maybe with the help of bitcoin. I mean, if bitcoin gains a huge peak then ripple may reach $10 someday. |
