Hey folks,

I have one rig with Asrock BTC 6 pcie. I have two more gpu's to add to my rig. But when I plug the extender and add the two cards in there. Kills the whole system it's like if I fried the board or something, so I have to unplug all the risers(gpu's) from the mobo remove the little battery from the mobo to reset it and turn back on. WTF is this? My mobo does not accept this device? I have two PSU on my RIG, the second one is a 750w EVGA with 2 GPU only so adding the 3rd one can no be the problem. All my cards are GTX 1070, but the one I'm trying to add right now is a GTX 1060 6GB.

Here is the link of the device I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/Extender-Bitcoin-Litecoin-Ubit-Adapter-Ethereum/dp/B073W9KCFC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1516797136&sr=8-4&keywords=PCIE+EXTENDER

Any help?

Thanks

extenders are dog crap.  If you want to go past 6 just buy another board and fix your headache.

Yes. All my cards use risers without any problem. The only thing is when I plug the adapter... For couple minutes I thought  the whole system was fried... hehehe! (Not funny at the moment)!!!

My personal thought is that through the pci-e extender, its pulling way to much power.

I know! I believe you are right. The only thing I wish this thing works... Because right now they are selling the mobo's for almost $400! This money I could get another video card Sad

Thanks
