I think CAT, token of Bitclave, is quite promising for long-term investment, as far as the development is under progress, and the general idea of being rewarded for sharing personal data is great and can work for every person

I choose Ethereum, which is the largest and most important digital currency except Bitcoin. The technology behind Ethereum allows building decentralized applications, such as financial, social networking and messaging platforms. Developers can use the Ethereum network for creating tokens for their own ICO projects, and the smart contracts concept is expected to be widely used. Due to its strength and stability, most crypto currencies exchanges allow you to use Ethereum as an alternative to Bitcoin. Meaning, you can use it as the basic coin which is traded against other altcoins.

You should consider Cardano. This is an interesting currency which is used for receiving digital cash. Some call it the Ethereum of Japan, as its technology and some of the features are quite similar. Also, their founder was also one of the co-creators of Ethereum. It’s not surprising then that many analysts have faith in their future growing plans.

Honestly, I speak highly of Litecoin. It is one of the largest crypto digital coins in terms of market cap and one of the most interesting to trade on.  It was created based on the same technology of Bitcoin seven years ago. However, the Litecoin speed of transactions is much higher than that of the Bitcoin. Another thing, is that Litecoin was the first to use the Lightning Network for transfers. This technology is expected to add to the future Litecoin’s value and price.

Ripple is a good long-term investment in my opinion. It provides value by offering an effective international payment system. As opposed to other crypto currencies, Ripple is centralized and does not use mining for transfer confirmations. Therefore, it spends less computing power. That allows focusing on other valuable things, such as  enabling faster, more secured, and lower cost transactions.

I appreciate of Verge. Lately, its popularity and market cap significantly increased. The main purpose of Verge is to be an efficient way for completely anonymous money transfers online. They use privacy features, and networks such as I2P and TOR in order to hide users real IP addresses and make their transactions secured and untraceable.

Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

I always prefer to invest on ethereum coins because there is an assurance that the price will increase even more in the future and it already happened just this past few months ago after bitcoins dump its price.

Ripple is one of the top crypto coins in terms of market cap in my opinion. With many potential collaborations and increasing interest from large institutions, the stability and growing potential of the Ripple look promising.

I believe that ethereum is already a good altcoin to hold for a long term investment because the price is also increase even though the growth is not as fast as bitcoins but it was still profitable.

If you want to protect and increase the profitability of your investments you should think about diversification. Here are my personal top 5 cryptocurrencies for long-term investments:
1. Bitcoin - no matter what happens, the ""digital gold"" will remain wanted.
2. Cardano - new smart contract platform made by Ethereum co-founder might become big in future.
3. Ethereum - open-source, blockchain-based distributed platform with a built-in computing functionality. Smart contracts are so much innovative.
4. IOTA - blockchain-less technology for the IoT industry.
5. Monero - unlike Bitcoin, transactions in the Monero network are anonymous.
The more altcoins you have in your portfolio, the more flexible it is. However, you need to be able to control the holding. If you are a beginner, it may be difficult to follow more than 3-5 projects.

I can just can recommend Waves coins for everyone who is looking for some altcoin for a long term invest. Its a very good coin with awesome devs behind. They are also creating a smart contract plattform, which will be a lot easier to handle then the one from ethereum. So actually you got the coins very cheap. And in future, there should be a nice profit!

You should consider Litecoin. Like Bitcoin, there is no central authority, new coins are created through solving algorithms, and over time these algorithms are becoming more difficult to solve. There are many important differences, however. It’s overall cap limit is set at 84 million, compared to Bitcoin’s 21 million. The algorithms themselves are much easier to solve and can still be solved without special mining equipment. Further, Litecoin blocks are created every 2.5 minutes, compared to Bitcoin’s 10 minutes, making it possible to support far more transactions.

Many altcoins are available in market, if you look at coinmarketcap, you can see there above 1500 crypto coins and very cheap altcoins also available, before invest in altcoin you should study yourself and study about the project and team behind and how they are active in social medias and they should update all the related products on update, read roadmaps and ICO also good invest platfrom

I would tell you three most powerful cryptocurrency which you can hold for a long term. They are Bitcoin, Ripple, and Ethereum. These coins are very popular and demand is growing from year to year. I expect no less than X2 ROI if to hold these coins within one your in equal parts.

Invest directly in ethereum because this crypto could be a lot of function in the near future like investing in an ICO. As we all know that most of the ICO are ether platform base so no wonder if you will invest in ether you could take advantage on its volatility and at the same time you can also choose to invest a good ICO which you think that could profit you in the near future.
