Electrum transaction stuck at unconfirmed for the last 3 days

Hello all,

I tried to send about .0066 BTC from electrum to another one of my wallets with a really low fee (around .0001) but unfortunately, the transaction has been stuck at 'unconfirmed' for the last three days. When I right click the transaction and click 'view on block explorer', nothing shows up. I understand that the transaction probably won't go through due to the low fee, but I thought the amount I sent would at least be returned to my wallet in 2-3 days?

If anyone could help me out or at least let me know what is going on, I would really appreciate it.

Your transaction is stuck because of low fee, this need to be accelerated. I usually do this things for a small fee or donation but I like to help you here for free. Is your lucky day

Don't listen to this guy. Unless he shows us proof that he is not using a free accelerator service do not send him a single dime. He don't deserve it and he got a well deserved red trust for trying to cheat on our forum.

If you really wanted to accelerate your transaction in paid service better to use this https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
They have 2 option free and paid accelerator this one would be the best and well known trusted than the recommended 1 above.

There are lots of ways to accelerate your transaction but if you are using electrum wallet this transaction should be rejected and you can start send again but need to increase the miners fee..  Try the CPFP(Child Pays For Parent) just send another bitcoin from your bitcoin address to other bitcoin address but make sure this time to increase the miners fee use the default fee here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ its enough to pay your new transaction and your old stuck transaction..

You can see is really low fee, this needs time. When I told you cca 3h I was looking at wrong tx, sry for that. But usually this won't take more then 24h, but don't worry this will be confirmed.

re-broadcasting a transaction which has a low fee (in this case 2 s/B) is not going to do anything for the confirmation of it. the same nodes that have a higher minrelaytxfee will still reject it and the same miners which want higher fee tx will still ignore it.

these steps are only good in case you have propagation problem. for example when you open your Electrum but you see your transaction is not there (because you connected to a node that doesn't have your tx) so you go to a block explorer (sometimes BC.I doesn't have it either) and get the raw transaction to push it to that node so you don't have to create a new tx and practically have a double spend in your hands.

I think I'm just going to give up on my transaction going through. Do you have any idea when I should be expecting the coin to return on my wallet? At the moment, my balance reads as ".0066 BTC [.0066 BTC unconfirmed]" I saw some posts saying it takes around 3 days, but I'm on day 5 of this transaction right now.

Base on what i experienced 7 days before my transaction return back to my electrum wallet.. since your transaction is almost 5 days maybe 2 more days needed but for other sometimes their transaction takes longer until its rejected by mempool .. After that you can resend your bitcoin but this time you should increase the miners fee (CPFP) so that you won't experience of delay use the default fee here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ use this chart. Always open this every time you are planning to send your bitcoin and use the default fee because  the fee is changing from time to time..
