Greetings,

I was banned January 2, 2018 while browsing the forum. Sent an email directly to the ban appeals email stated (banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com) and followed up January 13.
No reply yet, and I do understand that ban appeals is low prioritized. So after reading some ban related threads creating an new account and making a thread in Meta was suggested.

I created this account to follow up on my account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1268525.
Upon logging into this account a warning came up "You are unable to post. How to enable posting"

Bitcoin Forum > Remove Proxyban
Your IP address has previously been used for evil on this forum, or it is a known proxy/VPN/Tor exit node, so you are required to pay a small fee before you are able to post messages or send PMs.

So I did as instructed and sent the required amount, but upon switching account back to my main account it's still banned so I believe it was not related to proxy (some devices used with proxy).
And I consider that I have made no harm towards this community or any in general.

Please if possible I would appreciate if any moderator or admin could look into this.

Thank you.

I am also concerned regarding the IP use here. Suppose a member logs in from a public computer where another spammer might have got his account banned. Will it result in ban for former member as well ?

Regarding to the amount you had paid, that was for that newly registered account, not for ban removal of your banned account.

Q: Why is my IP banned? What are those units of evil?
A: Your IP might be banned because it was used by a user that got perma banned. Don't worry - IP bans decay over time if there's not too many of them during a small period. If you register using a banned IP, are using TOR, VPNs or well known proxies, you will have to pay a small fee. This is to prevent spammers while allowing legitimate members to post without many restrictions.

Have you been browsing the forum using VPN? Yes?
Because some of them were previously/actively being used by scammers or hackers.

Friendly bump.

Would it be possible for any moderator or admin to please overlook this?

Thank you.
