can someone tell me why in the title?

im hashing 115mh/s, i have 2 1070 and 2 1070ti all averaging about 28 to 29mh/s. i didnt mess with any of the settings except the overclocking. so it is mining sia and eth. it wont connect to sia pool so its only mining eth. because i just joined simple mining os, i have a 3 day trial, but it says my balance is .20$ (im guessing that means 20 cents) so based off of that it looks like it only mined 9 cents in 1.5 days. whats going on?

Not to hijack this but Phil have you ever considered putting a link to the Sidehack's project that you are referencing?  Smiley

For one, take SIA out of the equation, as there is now an ASIC miner for it, so you will be literally losing money mining it.  To fully figure out what is going on, take a couple of screenshots of  your pool worker stats

Also, I don't use Simple Mining but in that screenshot it says "Fee Balance."  Simple mining charges $2 per month per rig, so after a day and a half, 11 cents of fee accumulation sounds right.

Don't mine eth... This isn't good choice for your cards.

I think 1070 is good for ETH.

Well without clicking that shady link and just by reading the title

I am assuming this guy is mining Bitcoins with his GPU. Still pretty impressive to earn 9 cents of BTC per 1.5 days with GPUs.

are you sure all of your GPUs are mining with a proper drivers?

before getting involved in mining you better learn some basic things:
1) how to install windows
2) install GPU drivers
3) overclock your GPUs
4) start with nicehash
5) learn more about different algos/miners and how to set it up
6) learn more about mining profitability on different algos/coins for your cards
Thats the basics which can be easily found on google, or youtube, or siri whichever is easiest for you
