1) I saw your previous post. You're a new member on this forum and the posts can often get lost in the more relevant topics that come up every day. It's not that no one is willing to help you, it's just that sometimes the post gets pushed down.

2) I would say not to use Coinbase. However, if you really want to, you might need to wait longer for the bank verification. People who I know that have verified their info with coinbase said it can take up to a week for the small deposits to come into your account. Don't worry too much about it and just wait. If they don't come, try another exchange.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

I've been using Coinbase for several years. If you want to send cash to them from your bank you would have to wait for up to 7 days, depending on the bank. People have the misconception that is on the Coinbase side, it's actually the banks side due to the regulations that they have to deal with and the banks own policies dealing with a risk transfer. But other than that, the fees, and the downtime that happens I haven't had any issues with them. Of course I've been paying attention to them and I've noticed that they are attempting to, at least, resolve the support/down time issues. It would be nice if they cut the fees a bit too, since they have been raising enough money from other means.

But to answer the OP question, for the US users, Coinbase should be ok to use. You can also make sure your taxes are correct with them as well. If you wanted to skip transferring the cash to Coinbase, one can always use a CC/debit card for instant buys.

Dude i think your not really searching, there many ways to buy crypto, first make an account on exchanger like coinbase or your local exchanger and then use localbitcoin.com to cash it out, coinbase is for trading. do not forget to make a wallet to store your bitcoin. my it will help you to buy crypto.

You've never seen those deposits ....
You checked you online or mobile banking account or you checked directly with the bank?

Because in my case with ING I can't see pending charges in my mobile app but if I request a bank statement they show up
So you'd better call your bank.

Secondary, try to buy coins on locabitcoins.
Look for an old trader with lots of positive reviews over a long period of time and just start with small amount 100 to 500. Or whatever small means to you Cheesy

Localbitcoins is great since you don't have to give your IDs to anybody, I don't trust bank with my personal information and how am I going to trust some 3rd party startup - exchange which don't have high security.... The only drawback to using localbitcoins however is ease of use for an ordinery fellow and understanding how does the escrow system work and such. Thankfully I am fairly positive that there are good reviews on how to deal with them, other downside is that prices could be higher due to dealing with other people. But it is a convenient way and I would highly recommend localbitcoins to anybody - just look for seller/buyer with good trust rating and if everything goes bad you can contact their support.

Coinbase isn't bad, even if you purchase btc and the transaction takes a while you pay for what it was at the time you bought it. It is a pain to register, if you screw it up open a fresh gmail and start over. I had to do it. The small verified transactions are for credit cards, call right after u process it, u should be good

Coinbase are scammers and didn't pay me my $10 joining bonus so good luck trusting them with your
millions because somehow I cannot see that in the long run working out

Hey Coinbase just what button do I press to see the Bitcoin gold that belongs to me you thieves because it might
just cover some of my losses in fees that miners here have robbed me for when moving Bitcoins

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

The best way would be to use local bitcoins, honestly. Take your time and get familiar with how to do the process, it does seem confusing at first, but if you just follow the instructions, it will be easy. Buy a small amount first, do everything once, and than buy the rest. Good luck bro!

Haha! Yes, the bitcoin fees are pretty high. You need to get comfortable with other coins out there, Bitcoin is the most expensive one, but it's not the only one, and there are plenty of things going on in the world of cryptocurrencies. If you need to transfer between exchanges, look at lightcoin and ether.

There are a lot of exchanges that accepts US dollar and buys bitcoin with it. You just don't have the patience to find it on yourself and only your mouth is doing all the work.

Don't give up friends, there are still many ways to buy crypto, maybe if you have money you can buy it directly, and save it, or with many follow the competition and others, but do not forget to prepare his wallet.

I don't think they charge fees for transfers between Coinbase and Gdax. More likely that the drop in value is just bitcoin's price dropping.

What is the website you're using ? Why Bitcoin is hard to approach ? I just don't get it because everyone in this world would be easily to buy Bitcoin , they only have to own a computer and internet. That's all.
