Not everyone can be bothered or understand how to install Oracle VM VirtualBox and compile a wallet just to mine, this just makes me think the dev done this to restrict the mining to a few. This isnt a fair launch and could impact how far this coin goes.

If you cant be bothered - thats on you.
Don't get me wrong - I whine about it too
its a pain in my ass ...  I'd love to get a throw away address
from a web wallet and just do my test runs before I decided to
download/install/etc/etc.

But after whining, you got put on your big-boy pants and do
what it takes to make money.  Sure its not perfect, but
sadly, it seems to becoming more common.

P.S.
VMWare player is a lot easier to deal with then VBox
on windows - might make it a bit easier for ya.

Mac Wallet but no windows wallet... cmon.. Huh

I'm so sorry about it Bsteck. But I'm still working on it, making some good progress! Soon I'll be able to release it for you guys.

So is this mineable with a GPU? Or do I need an AISC?

You can mine it up with your CPU or GPU, if you wish. I choosen Blake256 algorithm because it's good for mining with CPU too! Just take a look at my github and read the docs. There's everything you need to know.

Edit : lol even the wallets are not ready, for what reason did you launch this in the first place?

This is becoming more and more common lately, unfortunately - masternode fever maybe ?
I dunno...
but at least this coin works if you compile it - seen a bunch of DASH clones lately
that don't even do that...

I explained why we chose to launch before wallets are ready to go a few posts ago. Anyone who can read the docs in Github will be able to compile it to run in your own way. We will be an unique coin! I'm not asking to follow us, but give a chance for us to show how can we be good in a future. We're planning so many things... But first I'm working in priority stuff (like wallets, pools and etc).

Thank you all, guys! More news are coming this week.

It is not my obligation to provide Qt Wallet since the source code is available for people to download and compile. I'm doing this with a "plus", since I do not absolutely have the ability with QT's language and it's in the roadmap we're putting together, a GUI Wallet using NodeJS + Angular 2 + Electron.

Yes, I'm finding it difficult to build a Wallet GUI using QT, as I explain, believe me, okay. But I've been working all day for over 10 hours in the currency in order to compile this QT for a community. So you should thank me, not criticize.

You have so many ways to mine Bolt: Pools, built-in wallet and etc. It's not difficult download, compile and use cgminer to mine bolt.
