Ordered with paypal, will I get refund?

Contacted BFL last week on email saying ive been waiting forever and that I think I would like a refund if I cant get a guaranteed delivery date or something, but no answer.. They have taken my money, failed to deliver and don't even answer my email, unreal..

So im thinking, anyone else here that has ordered from BFL via paypal and are contemplating refund? Maybe we should start a "group refund" campaign and get this rollin? Smiley

Here's the PSA that's been floating around

If you have ordered from ButterFly Labs and have not yet received your product, you are entitled to a refund whenever you request one (per FTC rules).
First ask ButterFly Labs for a refund, they will probably say no but you might get lucky.
If you ordered via PayPal you can file a complaint with them even if you are outside the 45 day window. Multiple customers have already gotten a refund from PayPal that was outside the 45 days.
If you ordered via Bitcoin or Bank wire, you can fill out a complaint with the FTC at  http://www.ftc.gov/complaint and they will advocate for you with ButterFly Labs to get your refund. You can also contact the office of the Kansas Attorney General and inform them that you have had your money taken with no product delivered for months, just more promises.
You can also do a paper filing with the DA here: http://da.jocogov.org/complaint-forms

There are also several threads on how to get a refund from ButterFly Labs, here are two:

.....you know, I had typed up this big, long reply, but instead I am going to ask this, when did you order? And did you know about the delays/where they are in their shipping queue before you placed your order?

I'm in a similar situation as I ordered the next step up from the Jally (single mini?) back on June 17th this summer. Of course, I bought in btc and they say all transactions are final yet what's the point of having the thing if it isn't going to come til (best case scenario) October and more than likely by the end of the year. Is the only recourse filing with the ftc or writing it off?

Did you not know of how backordered these units were before you placed your order?

Only way I got a refund was via paypal... I tried sending emails for a week, nothing happened, but once I filed for a refund at paypal homepage I got a refund pretty fast,

They keep an update as to where they are in their shipping queue.  Probably why they arent responding because the information is there.  This is something that everyone should know about before ordering.

Apparently not. Guess this is my personal BTC booboo. Hopefully, something inspires BFL to get their ass into gear and complete their end of the bargain. Glad I made all the btc future share purchases I did to offset this booboo.
