Hello all,
Just got an s9, boots well but does not hash (all 3 hash boards read 0's on the status page). I notice only one fan seems to be detected. Although both are spinning, there is only 1fan slot reading rpm. All other fan slots are at 0. Is there a way to determine if it is a problem with the fan or control board?

Thanks for the advice, I switched fan connections and one fan shows in a different slot.  Can an s7 fan be used inin an s9 or do I need a new one?  I assume they are not compatible but thought I would ask.

The s7 and s9 use a similar 6000 rpm fan, I have used many s7 fans on s9s with no issue.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Check what firmware version your running, old firmware use to exhibit this issue, my December batch did the same

Also share your kernel log, helps to see issues.
