Austin wrote a nice blog post/essay today about 'trust,' and how it relates to evangelizing or spreading bitcoin. You can read it here: http://lifeonbitcoin.com/lifeonbitcoin-day-34-on-the-subject-of-trust/

Austin and his new wife Beccy are in the thick of living three months only on bitcoin, and they are learning a tremendous amount about bitcoin and how it is perceived and spread in the wider business community.

Please let me know if you have any questions about our project.

Do they understand that building a tighter knit community by intimately engaging with all of the people that they depend on by building that trust is of more significant value than any currency can provide?

Bitcoin combines money, the wrongest thing in the world, with software, the easiest thing in the world to get wrong.

That is well said, and is absolutely true. LightRider, do you think bitcoin will build stronger community over the long haul?

Only in the sense that people will recognize that money is a fiction, ultimately illusory and destructive to humanity and the environment we all depend upon, and that the only true wealth we have is the relationships we have with others. While Bitcoin is a better money, it still promotes the distorted values and aberrant behaviors associated with any monetary system.
