I woke up this morning from a clicking sound coming from one of the 7950s in my main rig. It had been a mining workhorse for 4 months and forgot to turn it off in the latest instance of cgminer (i am now aware of the no-gpu option).

Does anyone know if the bearing is about to go, and if there are any directions on how to replace this easily? I could always RMA it, still within warranty, but I don't feel like waiting a month or more to get back my gaming card. Any help would be greatly appreciated in the form of btc tips based on how useful your info is. Thanks!

Can also go the route of the zip-tie.  Thats what I did with my 2 5830's back in the day.  Fans went out, bought them off someone on the boards so couldnt RMA, so I just took the shroud and fan off and strapped a 120mm fan to one, and a 92 delta to the other (it was under a desk, needed the extra cooling).

Squiggly letters, written really fast, with a couple of dots for good measure.
