I start playing with idea mining neoscrypt algo only and want know what do you think about it, especially compared to classic multi algo mining. I mined multi algo on ahashpool and MPH and neoscrypt was mostly the best algo there (MPH in top 3) and it pays bigger shares than other algos. So that is why i picked neoscrypt.
And now i want to show you my calculations. Please correct me if im wrong and tell me how much realistic it is. I dont know which data should i use, so im using last 24h from pools api, but maybe 7d is more accurate in log term?

I have 6.7Mh/s at neoscrypt.
ahashpool - 0.32210mBTC/Mh/d - 0.00215807BTC/d for me
hashrefinery - 0.31371mBTC/Mh/d - 0.002137501BTC/d for me
nicehash - 0,3748mBTC/Mh/d - 0.00251116BTC/d for me

Nicehash looks interesting, but im not sure that data is correct from their side. I cant believe it is that much better than others, but maybe im wrong and nicehash is the best for this algo.
Another thing is that hashrefinery is worse than ahashpool, but as i can see hashrefinery found much more coins last 24h, so im wonder if hashrefinery is the best for neoscrypt despite my calculations.

this is what nicehash is showing me for last 24 hours

Mining stats

Algorithm               Accepted speed                Rejected speed           Profitability        (BTC/day)

NeoScrypt             13.56 MH/s                        0.00 MH/s (0.00%)           0.0064         0.00452512

Equihash                 0.00 Sol/s                        0.00 Sol/s (0.00%)           0.0000         0.00096335

I had one rig running Equihash for 9 hours.

I have 45 1070. which are split between hashrefinery and zpool.za.

The last 24h btc paid to my btc account has been as follows:

Hashrefinery 0.332813559 mBTC/Mh/s (Actual Claimed by the Pool 0.32915 mBTC/Mh/s)
Zpool 0.344335016  mBTC/Mh/s  (Actual Claimed by the Pool 0.36193 mBTC/Mh/s)

Therefore Zpool for the last 24h has been 3.4% more profitable than hashrefinery.

But that is not always the case. It really depends on a luck and historically hashrefinery has been much more profitable than zpool.ca. It has only changed in the last week really sins Zpool added more coins.

I have tried https://www.ahashpool.com/ but as they have only 8 coins and much less total hashrated I have dropped them for now.

It is very possible that there is a Neoscrypt coin that is not listed on hashrefinery or zpool that is more profible at this stage. For example QUBIT and Cerberus. But if all things are equal Nicheash will not be as profitable as the others.

Sparks and Crowd used to be one of them also. if that happens Nicehash will be more profitable than mining to a pool such ash zpool/hashref

NewJoe: Thanks for data, so that means nicehash is at 0.00223586BTC/d. Not as good as it looks in their api.

Etherion: Looks like your stats are better than their api, that sounds great for me and ill give hashrefinery try. I dont like zpool much, so i will avoid it.

Hashrefinery looks for me more stable in terms of neoscrypt mining. There are more workers, but more coins also and it slowly outperforms ahash.

Anyway anyone compared it to multi algo mining?

I still have to do a hashrate comparing on the pool side but im running ccminer-Alexis78

Just based on the hashrates reported by the miner it looks to be the fastest.

Although I am having my doubts that I can trust that reporting. you might want tot rather try something newer like https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases

good miner are:
- Hsrminer - top speed in my test
- Ccminer KlausT - close to hsrminer
- Nsgminer - speed is jumpy
- Excavator - dev team working for better tuning & they will get there ...

cheers

I compared aluexis78 vs hsr because it was replaced in nemosminer and hsr is 10% faster on my GTX 1060

How long did you run the test and are you comparing CCMiner Alexis78 outputs on the pool or the console?  I have not tried Hsrminer as it does not support  an API with ethmonitoring.com.

But I do plan to test them with the pool data over 48h windows in the near future.

Just by checking the miner output i can say that CCMinerAlexis78 and hsrminer are the same for 1070s

I tested it one week, half and half. And i compared console output. Anyway im going to switch from windows to HiveOS and i think there is only ccminer KlausT, which is even faster for some ppl here. So i will compare it also.

Edit: I looked at pool stats and it shows the same hashrate as hsrminer and sometimes much higher and sometimes a bit lower, but mostly the same and better
