Some users have an opinion about making the "antimerit" system - is there any real sense in this?

The first reaction was YES! Let's have some rights.

But after understanding the real situation I think it will not be useful or helpful and even could be dangerous for newbies and junior members first. Be cause in current situation you can only earn Merits, without any lost, and if there will be "dislike" system you can stuck in your member rank for ages for every mistake (spam, links, grammar, etc.). So, please, let's stop those talks about negative ranking.

Thoughts?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It is already mentioned in the official thread that it might be added easily if required.

There is already an option called report post. If Anti merit is introduced it will cause a lot of confusion in signature campaigns. A member today will become Jr member with few AntiMerits.
