Guys, im starting this thread for something really bad happened to many customers on C-CEX.COM.
We probably lost all of our Verge in their website since (around) 20th of December, when the wallet went down and it has not come back online. They went holiday for 1 month, returned back few days ago (on 20th), we opened many tickets about this problem, we wrote them everywhere (even here) but they avoid all questions about this big "issue". So now, I withdrawn all my other coins from the website because I don't believe anymore on those people. I hold 33k Verge on C-CEX.COM, I know other people who have got more than me and everybody is upset, mainly due lack of information from C-CEX.COM admin.
I hope somebody could help us, since C-CEX.COM does not listen to us.

Thanks for this topic. I have the same problem. Lots of XVG of mine has gone missing. C-CEX is not responding at all anymore. (Even in the off case they do, it's a canned response) The sheer amount of people who are facing the same issues is tremendous. For instance, check out this twitter thread: https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/956142932603662337

I have zero trust in them anymore. What can we do?

To help you two out, do the following :-
Contact the staff of C-Cex here in this forum, send them a pm: - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=220467
Wait for a couple of weeks and see what they have got to answer. Don't send too many support tickets in their exchange, limit it to one per user, the more you people send the tickets, the support team's burden increases and the response from them would get nothing but further delayed.
If they do not answer at all for weeks, open a scam accusation against them here: - Scam Accusations
They should probably reach out soon before that, so anyhow I wish you people good luck. Please don't use exchanges as your wallet. It's a terrible mistake. Use shapeshift as your exchange, you don't need to make an account , you just need to have a to and fro address of two cryptos.

They don't care they don't answer to PM and there is already a thread for scam accusation from years ago it's useless.

We must get the contact info (they hide their whois information via http://privacyprotect.org/ like the thieves they are) we must report abuse here http://privacyprotect.org/ to for "fraud" to get the names ( Yuriy Ivanov is the supposed owner of the scam exchange c-cex but is this even true ?) of the people behind this and take down the website for fraud first with all the proofs we have , and after we will start (or join) a class action against this man and all his team (it seems somebody as already started one few years ago) as you can see here : https://twitter.com/ccex?lang=fr

This time he has gone too far, he knows it...

Only one thread right, that's good to be honest. People thought bittrex and poloniex was better and just look at the number of accusations against them.
Please do provide a valid proof, create a new thread and see what's reason for the issue. I'm sure DT members would help you out in some sort of way by giving C-Cex  a negative trust, though that won't help much, they wouldn't want to ruin their reputation, so they should probably respond soon enough. I didn't look much into their case, so I'm not guaranteeing anyone.
If you really think that the exchange is bad, don't use it, don't you not do your own due diligence before you use an exchange? If you don't, then the blame is on you too.

Seems there's a bounty on the identity of the c-cex owners due to fraud.

You have got to be kidding me. You create a thread in the exchanges board, to find out if you're scammed or not or whatever. Now you want someone else to create a scam accusation thread for you? That's preposterous as well as asinine. This is a forum for discussions and you're free to create a thread with some cause /reason. Just ask the users who lost their Verge in that exchange, and make a scam accusation. But be sure to hear from the exchange first.

Before saying something (probably) you don't know take a look on Twitter C-CEX and look how many comments about Verge coins, we are plenty of people. You said to hear from exchange first? We tried to contact their admin, but they didn't answer at all in a month. Try to open a ticket about Verge and they don't answer.

They already have a negative trust, and it's getting worst everyday but they don't care, they see our message and don't answer, yes i was using it one time just to do a transaction to buy verge (that's not all my portofilo but 55k€ is a lot and i wasn't storing it there) and the withdrawal was impossible even 5 days before their "vacations".

Yes i did but it can happen on most exchanges i'm not here to waste time on that, i just tell everyone who have been scammed how to have a chance to discover their real identities, take down the website for fraud so others customers can avoid to lose money and to start legal actions against this scammer Yuriy Ivanov and his team from the c-cex scam exchange

So I checked some transactions. For instance, I bought XVG on C-CEX with BTC on C-CEX (Which I had there as well). I bought for 0.002 BTC worth of XVG (minus XVG fee). I got the XVG, and the BTC amount was deducted from my C-CEX BTC wallet, though, when I check the value of the actual wallet on the blockchain, it still contains the 0.002 BTC. On C-CEX is says ZERO though. In other words, they never actually removed BTC from the wallet and bought XVG for it.

Whut?

EDIT: Correction, I wasn't paying attention. The BTC is indeed gone. The transaction went ok. The XVG should be on that C-CEX wallet (of which I don't know the public key so I can't check...).
