They are just hyping the market. If it is too good to be true, it probably is. That price is too good to be true. No matter who they are , they cannot tell the future, so their words mean nothing.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I have severe doubts that Bitcoin will ever come even close to a million dollars. I personally don't see anything that supports that price level. If anyone has any articles or research they have done, I would like to see if I could potentially be wrong. It would be incredible, but I'm a realist and that seems like a pipe dream.
You are trying to play safe by sitting on the fence here. But I tell you something, it is highly impossible for Bitcoin to get to that $1million price level. With are these issues around its scaling, tx fees and inability to hide transaction details, bitcoin may not even get to $50k level. |

More and more people need Bitcoin and just a little leftover, it can happen but I'm not sure for a short time. Bitcoin will reach $ 1 million in 3 years.

Both John McAfee (creator of the antivirus program) and James Altucher (entrepreneur, hedge fund manager and author) have made a claim that BTC will hit $1 million by the end of 2020.
That means that the market cap will be about $20 trillion or so. If BTC is 33% of the entire market, that means the cryptocurrencies market will be a whopping $60 trillion, or 1/3 of all the money in the world.
Too crazy to happen? What do you guys think?

By speculation, bitcoin is expected to reach $100k by end of 2018 and $1m in 2020 which is just about two years ahead. Projects around around it will make it work. It is expected that the major country exchanges and currencies will exchange with bitcoin. It is better to get into the train and make life convenient for yourself while it last because countries are also getting involved.

Bitcoin can never hit $1M most especially with all these whales and fudd having their Way in cryptocurrency. It can only increase drastically if this can be controlled which I doubt for now

Its possible and the daily growth rate (0.52%) over the past 9 years proves that. However, its off to a slow start in 2018 so that number might start to decrease.

If this is ever to happen, BTC will be far more than 33% for sure. If one coin reaches that level, there will not be room for more than a few other coins of significant value.
I dont see it hit 1 million 2020, but if it can survive maybe in the future.
My guess is 40k 2018, 100k 2019 and 250k 2020.

Yes, and no.
Bitcoin is gaing more and more popularity these days and with popularity the price grows, as well as utilities it is used for with involves much more transactions and thus much bigger fees. The blockchain will run through many forks by then, but the current state of bitcoin can't survive that much of money being thrown only into fees. Also the electricity it takes to mine will be growing by time, leading it to a series of legislations limiting the mining processes as well as forbidding them in some countries. The current PoW system may be working right now, but is surely not the state of future solution.

I dont think that Bitcoin can hit 1 million USD,thats really unrealistic.
I believe that btc can hit up to 100k USD one day but also this is at the moment very unrealistic...
We will see what the future brings to us...

Looking upon the growth it has attained over the years, it is clear that anything could happen with the price in no time. Within an year's time the price peaked and reached from around $1000 to $2000. The growth is completely dependent on the increasing adoption, more the people, more will be the growth. Last year a massive adoption took place, hope to see adoption in the ongoing as well upcoming years to support the growth. |

Yes bitcoin will reach $1m . But when will it happen maybe it will possible in 2020. This January bitcoin Price $9000-12000.First bitcoin will reach 20k . First will monitor full of bitcoin in this year .will can see maximum growth at end of this year bitcoin reach .Then decide bitcoin will reach $1m at 2020

There's a possibility but we don't know on when it can be possible. I'm not assuming that John McAfee's prediction will be for real, he's been pumping altcoins before and we don't know if he's totally out of his mind. But if ever that happens, that is the greenest day ever in my crypto life.

Certain speculation is hard to believe and how could the bitcoins reach that? given price are to much! but if adoption came well all people will support the beauty of bitcoins then we might gonna see for the bits to come at $1 million mark. But I don't know if we are still existing in earth if bitcoins reach that since if that time comes it will take more decades first since spread out about the crypto's will not happen on quick blink adoption takes more months before it happens. yeah it is possible.but when it possible. Mcafee is a a huge manipulator on crypto world he want to exercise our minds for that event so that he can gain more benefits from it. |
