Ok so Ive been mining for a couple weeks now through BTCguild. My total mining power is around 2gh and so far so good im enjoying all of this as a hobby. Ive been reading about Triple mining and I have some friends who want to invest in bitcoin mining with me. Basicaly I want to make our own minipool in triple mining but would it benefit us? Im curious because of the power difference between the 2 pools.

If you have enough friends to put together a few terahashes, sure, go for it.  Otherwise, you will rarely hit blocks and would be better off with a slow, steady (but small) stream of btc via shares of a larger pool.

Yeah thats what i figured. I was curious because my 2gh is almost more powerful than 30% of tripleminers minipools on its own.

If you can get a few trustworthy people to join you, then it's always worth trying. But, if not then I would stick with the steady income like stated above.
