Hello all,
Noob hobby miner....first time on the forum...

Purchased a Gridseed Orb dual miner recently and setup mining on a Windows 10 x64 machine.  First in scrypt, then in SHA256, then in dual mining.  For the first few days all seemed well.  All of a sudden it appears that scrypt mining is rolling right along, however SHA256 mining appears to be dead.  Further investigation indicates that no sha256 shares are being submitted and the screen is nothing but "share above target".

I am currently mining Peercoin with cgminer-3.8.5-windows and Litecoin with cpuminer-GC3355-windows @ give-me-coins.com

I've done some homework and read thru many of the forums, obviously I'm not the only one that's seen this, however there doesn't appear to be a definitive answer.....at least one that I understand yet.  I am aware that this may not be considered a problem, however it seems that an awful lot of processing power may be going to waste?

So, my questions are:

1) Is the sha256 core of my Gridseed dead?
2) Is there a different version of cgminer that I should be using?
3) Is this really an issue at all?

Thank you in advance for your help...
