Hi guys,

Recently due to the low fees I attempted to send a larger transaction using only 1 satoshi/B:

https://blockchain.info/tx/ac3ef98d7ff4a13f1efa7faaf66b50e0a03724dc65d89e19125a4de443d9123e

1410 sats fees, 1402 bytes

Obviously since I did not expect that to confirm by itself another transaction was sent for child pays for parent:

https://blockchain.info/tx/94178262fe53f2ef7162ce1955815a7b13a2084367f9aacaa3088611ed8dcef1

30000 sats fees, 223 bytes

By my understanding for CPFP, the total would be: (31410 sats/1625 bytes) = 19.32 sats/B

In theory, this fee, though low, should have gotten at least confirmed within a day, but it still has not been over 2 days. Is there a problem with my calculations or thinking?

Thanks!

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)
