Short breif and my thinking about merits

Since merit system has been public, as a new member, here is the short breif and thinking about merit:
1. New merit requirement for level up aims to avoid the spams.
2. Since merit is not plentiful right now, members like me should post quality topics. Fair enough to post high quality articles or replies to earn this.
3. Every member with merits has a limited number per month. He can read carefully to decide what quality post is and hard to farm army of spam accounts by merits. 
3. If merits are given to spams, it's easy to track since merits can be found on the top of article and public to the community. Community can give them negative trust or ban them.
4. Though people cannot see every quality posts to give merits, we can post them as much as you can. Good post always can be rewarded one day.
5. Most merits are owned by high-titled members, they cannot exchange metrics between them at risk because it can be caught easily and their aim is to build a bitcoin talk with a better place to discuss.   
6. If someone has free time, he can also be a metric source as well, I guess Most of them are moderators, legendary member or developers.

Just a quick fix:

3. Every member with merits has a limited number per month. He can read carefully to decide what quality post is and hard to farm army of spam accounts by merits.  

Only merit sources (users choosen by theymos) have a number of sMerits that are replenished per month. Normal users (like me) only have a limited amount of sMerit and they are not replenished per month.

Also, for every merit you receive, you also get 0.5 sMerit.

It is already being used and was reported yesterday. No action taken till now. Though you can see if someone is abusing, they will with excuses like I was testing, I was not aware as this is new.

Sure, I see. Another thing I think is for new member like me who has less time to read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0 all of posts. He can read through this and know what it works I guess. Members can correct them by their thinking as well.
