Do you think bitcoin will turn into a crime tool? Many people use bitcoin to do some illegal activities, what do you think?

Anything that is used as a tool to finance criminal activity should be treated same way regardless of what it is - USD, Gold, Bitcoins, other fiat currencies, anything else that can be used as an exchange medium.

It is crime world should fight with, not the tools used in crimes.

That argument aside - bitcoin transactions are actually much more transparent and traceable then conventional cash that is pretty much used as universal medium to finance shady stuff.

Bitcoin is NOT a cyber crime tool.Cyber crime tools are viruses, malware, phishing methods, doxing and all the other software and hardware tools used by the cyber criminals to steal money and personal data.Bitcoin is just a currency, and by the way, most of the cyber criminals use monero or other altcoins.
Your question in the title is pointless. We can`t threat btc as such tool.

no because we are way past that point.

you see when bitcoin was new and it was the only thing around, this is when the misconception about bitcoin anonymity was still strong, by that time bitcoin was used more for illegal activities than anything else. although it was very very negligible compared to criminals using USD.

then slowly people realized bitcoin is not anonymous and never was and never was advertised as one either!
also real anonymous coins with focus on this were introduced. coins such as Monero and they are now satisfying that purpose. but it is still negligible compare to USD Wink

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

The argument that Bitcoin is a criminal tool is inappropriate. This is like a criminal who robbed you with a knife and asked you to give him your wallet. At this time you can say that "the knife is a criminal tool" and cannot say "the wallet is a criminal tool." Criminals use encryption to attack people’s computers and ask people to give them Bitcoin. Similarly, you can say “cryptography is a criminal tool” instead of “bitcoin is a criminal tool”. Of course, encryption is not a crime tool is another thing, there is no need to discuss here.

Bitcoin is free and easy. A single transaction with a few mouse clicks without the need to pay a central bank fee and without inflation due to some of the features of the legal tender issued in the world gives everyone who believes in Bitcoin free and Convenient means of trading and many other benefits. This is the same thing as everything else, and everything must be there because it gives people some benefits. Criminals are human beings, and criminals can avail themselves of these benefits. Such as the emergence of civilization, such as the emergence of guns and other weapons, such as the emergence of the phone, such as the emergence of the network. These things have brought convenience at the same time, gave birth to a new method of fancy crime. However, these are not the problems of these things themselves.

Bitcoins have no value in legal trade in goods, at least for the time being, but they do indeed have immense value in the illicit trade. And the huge profits from illegal activities are the fundamental value of bitcoin. Through bit It is very easy to translate illegal profits into legal revenue, which is enough to establish an underground world that can not be regulated. That is why governments are reluctant to recognize bitcoin.

Go through the Google and search for crime using bitcoin. This will give you a large number of articles describing the real incidents that has taken place around the world. Reading it will give a clear understanding, how bitcoin has been used as a tool for crime in various forms.

It goes without saying that naturalization of technology should not be allowed to say that we can not ban the use of firearms or kitchen knives because they can kill people, nor can we ban the use of money because it can be traded for drugs and can not be tracked. In fact, today, when the currency is highly virtualized, I can not even imagine what the most extensive use of banknotes is. No one knows for sure that this hole has been opened up too much. I think it is biased to compare bitcoin with ice and chemical and biological weapons. Bitcoin is more like a banknote, a highway, or the internet. The Internet has broken the monopoly of information and made the exchange of terrorist groups more convenient than ever before. But can you compare the Internet with biochemical weapons? All in all, bitcoin as a new infrastructure technology no matter what is being used can not be regarded as the fault of bitcoin itself, I believe that students with logical reasoning are recognized.

First of all, even if a government wants to ban Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not as easily trafficked as the physical characteristics of guns and ammunition. Moreover, not every government in the country wants to ban Bitcoin. And secondly, not to mention whether bitcoin exists for black market transactions in its own right, but it does provide real convenience for black market transactions, and the black market must have existed for a long time unless the government is able to close the dark network. Obviously more difficult than bitcoin.

Based on the long-standing objective reality of this bitcoin, I personally think it is pointless to discuss the dangers of bitcoin. Even if the result of the discussion is that there is no benefit in this matter, the people in the black market will continue to use it, and the criminals will continue to use it....

Not only Bitcoin or cryptocurrency but anything that has a value can always be used for crimes/illegal activities. Fiat currency and precious metals they are more used in this kind of activities. How sure are you that many people use Bitcoin for illegal things? are you one of them? lol. Bitcoin can be traced, and there are alternative cryptocurrency that gives 100% anonymity and can be used without being traced, like Monero and Zcash. We have to accept the truth that bad people/criminals will always takes advantage of any thing that is good for storing value.

No it won't, what do you think about dollars and other currencies? Just like the governments, the way they are looking to bitcoin is that it will only be used that way but they are wrong. The use of bitcoin is really depending on the person who has it, if he'll use it for investment as a store value or as a currency for paying goods and services. And there are people who are ending up using bitcoin for some of their illegal activities and it's inevitable, criminals are everywhere. And they don't care on what they are taking as long as it has monetary value. But I doubt it that bitcoin will be used for a crime tool during these days, there are some other privacy coins that are getting much attention from those criminals.

This is not true at all but complete bull shit spread by governments, centralised bankers who know they're loosing their plot, I'm surprised how easily people get convinced that bitcoins is being used for illegal activities. In a recent survey it was clearly written less than 1% used it for criminal activities so don't believe this fud.

Bitcoin is not a proper criminal instrument. This is like a criminal who robbed you with a knife and asked you to give him your wallet. This time you can say "a knife is a criminal tool," and you can not say "a purse is a criminal tool." Criminals use cryptography to attack people's computers and ask people to give bitcoin. Likewise, you can say at this time that "cryptography is a criminal tool" rather than "bitcoin is a criminal tool."

so does cash. But because of the nature of Bitcoin is decentralized and almost untraceable currencies. Some bad people benefiting from the cryptocurrencies advantage. I'm sure untraceable currency is needed on the black market, and the privacy-focused coin gains an advantage from it.

As a tool, bitcoin itself is innocent, just as the theory of innocence calls forbidding us from using them because of firearms or choppers, nor forbidding the use of banknotes because they can be traded for drugs and are not traceable use.

Since I have this thing for a long time, I become meaningless. The right thing to do is expose the bitcoin to the sun, learn it, study it, embrace it, build it and develop it, rather than treating it purely as a circulating currency in the dark world. Otherwise, only to the benefits of criminals and non-profit non-ordinary people do not benefit, then maybe bitcoin really become a criminal tool....
