That's a good question, where their earning will come from? Will the app be free or must be bought? Or advertisements during the trade?
The app itself is free to use, and there are no annoying advertisements being displayed. Robinhood makes its money mainly from their paid premium services, which grants people more functionalities. Another income source for Robinhood is that they earn interest over people's cash deposits and unused user balances. Also, before people are getting excited, Robinhood crypto trading will only be available in a few states within the US, so it's not that the entire world will be able to trade there immediately. On top of that, they will not allow anyone to deposit crypto into their Robinhood account. This makes me say that they are only tethering the price of a certain exchange, and that you just buy and sell non existent database tokens, which aside from its price, has nothing to do with crypto at all, so it's nothing really to be excited about after all, and definitely not a Coinbase killer....
