I am sure that if hold for long term the ripple will give good return so my suggestion please hold the ripple coins for long term and get good profits.

I dont think drop of ripple is related with dump&pump. There are a lot of adverse situation happened in ripple. For instance the lawsuit between ripple and r3 effect ripple's future in a bad way. What's more is i think if xrp wants to serve the purpose of use, the price of it should be maximum 1-1.5$. I think there are smarter investments rather than ripple, like raiblocks.

If you are taking it for long term it will show profit maybe to 3$ but it will take good amount of time.recent hyped in price was caused by john McAfee and coinbase adding rumors, now it will be difficult to see any spike like that in near future.ripple generally do not get support from community due to centralised nature and founder hold a good percentage of ripple with them.

From its highest peak value it almost returned back 1.5 USD lesser than that. Keep invest on the multiple crypto currencies buddy. If you invest on ripple you may find the value dropped around more 50 cents in the marketplace.
For long term profit invest on litecoin or ethereum. It will perform more than ripple doing in the market now.

Ripple can recover but it's value can not reach even beyond 13$. It is supposed to be a payment systems by banks and it's not decentralized like other cryptocurrencies. It's not suitable for long term investment.

Since I am so new to crypto currencies, I wanted to get a more educated opinion.

I invested in Ripple during it's decline. I saw a spike shortly afterwards, but it looks to have a steady decline at this point. I know it has been around for a while but is it just going to continue dropping? I realize it is all speculative but I would appreciate some insight if you have any.
Hold on to your Ripple, it will show a surprise jump in February and will not look back. Its the coin with the highest potential in it and will not disappoint you.

Now is back at $1.30 after it was close to $0,80 on the 10th of January 2018! With the news coming from South Korea saying that they will ban cryptocurrencies is hard to do any predictions. What I can say is that it can easily go back to $3,8 since in the last few weeks from total market cap almost 150 billion USD disappeared. If those big players come again into the game it can even go to $5. You can do the math by yourself using the number of coins, the price and the market cap. Is hard to go higher, because at $7 the capitalisation would be higher than bitcoin, I doubt.

We have to agree that Ripple superior technology makes it an excellent candidate to replace the antiquated SWIFT system, resulting in more and more banks getting on board the Ripple train. Over and above, there have been rumors that Coinbase, the famous cryptocurrency exchange, is planning on adding Ripple to its list of tradable coins come mid-2018. Considering the fact that Ripple is now on third spot as cryptocurrency this prediction is close to real. Should these rumors be true, this would make Ripple more accessible to public investors, which should increase its adoption rate. Hence, five, or even close to $7 dollars is a fair Ripple price prediction.

I see that you are very confident in your choice. Please share those facts that convinced you of the correctness of the choice. To date, a lot of promising projects, but apparently this is a source of good potential.

In my opinion Ripple will be recovered ONLY by speculators for a short period of time, not because XRP have a good technology. Also ripple is not a cryptocurrency because it is completely centralized by one company. Do not consider ripple as a long-term investment. Thinks that its actual price is 0,2 dollar per XRP

This had been always said that expect the unexpected things here on crypto which situation would really change from time to time specially into its price. Talking about ripple i cant say if it would have a future or do have potential again to pump just like what happened recently.I believe this thing is backed by bankers which we can able to say that this is not totally a decentralized thing which is somehow can really be manipulated. For now it depends on you if you do tend to sell out or not since you did able to buy on dips for sure you are still on profits now.Lesser but still considerable.

As RIPL run by the richest people of the world,it can be assumed that this coin will be very expensive. On the other hand for cross-border payments is not profitable to keep a high price.Unless they come up with something that the payments were cheap

I worked in the banking industry for many years. In my opinion, Ripple coin is useless, centralized and hard to be implemented. Only communication technology from Ripple may attract some banks. So XRP will be useless in the long run. Swift will implement their own blockchain based solution soon

The banks will prop Ripple up against natural market forces if it comes to that.

Competition is good for everyone, and in Ripple’s case, the pressure to exchanges and offer fiat pairings is only going to help the price.

Why do you think so? It seems to me that after such a sharp drop, the price recovery will occur no earlier than 1 month.
