Since I am so new to crypto currencies, I wanted to get a more educated opinion.
I invested in Ripple during it's decline. I saw a spike shortly afterwards, but it looks to have a steady decline at this point. I know it has been around for a while but is it just going to continue dropping? I realize it is all speculative but I would appreciate some insight if you have any.

Recently all CryptoMarket are unexpected. Can increased drastically,but in few hours it can dropped too. If you ask will it recover, maybe can. Just put hype on it as ever happened.  |

It will both rise and fall, but when it will be and in which direction Ripple will go it is not possible to say! Now everything is going down due to the Bitcoin course and it is growing along with it!

I hope this is going to be the end of ripple run so you just have to sell your ripple and find some potential decentralized coin.Many newbies are trapped by whales strategy that many investors will be attracted by the increasing coin once they got that profit they will move to the other coin and the price will fall with the current coin. But nothing is impossible in crypto market so you can hold your coins too sometime there will a surprise bump will happen.So you just hold it now with the hope that price will recover. |

I do not know. It is a lot unpredictable market and that too ripple is highly unpredictable. Probably if you are in loss you might want to HODL.

specially for ripple, in altcoin i am least interested in ripple although i know this coin is big community, this coin is a lot of unexpected traps so many buyers have to hold back so as not to lose and it takes a long time, experience on ripple which once got to reach 20k satoshi suddenly dropped to 2k satoshi, 6 months new value it can come back again, it is ironic ..

Just relax. Ripple is down together with all cryptomarket at the moment. Today is one more unexpected situation - Coincheck Exchange Freezes All Withdrawals As Up To $723 Mln Leaves Its Wallet. It seems that Coincheck was hacked. So Asia already third time this year bring all market down. But, winter, especially January is always "down" period. Let´s wait till spring and we will see grow. I believe Ripple till summer will be $100,000,000,000 market cap. But ETH will stay #2, or.. even #1

Since the Bitcoin is now dropping there is a tendency that some altcoins will drop too and some will rise depends on the market but you don't have to get worry too much about this because this is just normal and it happens sometimes there's too much hype. It will be back after these price correction of Bitcoin you will see that the market will gradually change eventually. Just hold down your Ripple nothing will going to change if you keep worrying.

Because of the bitcoin price decreaswd also ripple is affected so that's why the price of the rippe decreased. But don't worry about it because for sure ripple will increase the price in the future. So those people who invested to ripple will earn a lot of profit but you need to hold it for few months or maybe for longterm or few years you can get high profit if you have patience. I hope the price will increase again You can buy ripple now because the price of ripple decrease this is good time to invest your money to this coin.

Hodl and wait. I like it in Ripple that the number of coins will decrease over time, and the value should increase. If you can wait, Ripple can still grow at any time. Now almost all the coins are going through a crisis because of bitokoynov.

In my opinion, people indicate ripple has relation with banks and maybe it makes people pull out the investment from ripple. |

For now, the Ripple altcoin is still not in good rate, but there is a huge possibility that this RIPPLE will continue to recover and will reach again to the highest rate higher than what it had raised before.

I think there is no reason to worry. After the Chinese new year altcoins should go into growth, including Ripple. Moreover, according to Ripple out the good news about new partnerships. So the coin will grow in a long time. |

I think you shouldn't since ripple is been backed by the bank and its centralized coin so no chance for it to get sloped since their whales and manipulators will make sure that their coin will rise. Ripple as its sale state and now wonder that this coin could pump when crypto trade will became more healthier again. Marketplace coincheck was hacked and 500 milion usd stolen nem and ripple.
Oh that is awful to hear and surely ripple will go down after hackers dump this coin. |

It was an intentional pump and dump by whales and those who think that Ripple is dead now, is also done intentionally by them so that you will end-up selling your investment.

Are you just riding the hype before so you waited for it's dip before buying? I realize it is all speculative but I would appreciate some insight if you have any.
