How do give you suggestion ? Look at Coinmarketcap , they have more than 1000 coins , market correction already happen 1 month , just choose top 200 coins, then pick some coins and do research , but I'm a long term holder because I'm sure that I'll get more profit in the future

There are few coins which are really best for short term investment for example - ETH, BTC, BCH.
if we see historic data then you would see graph which is like zig zag, sometimes high sometimes low.
we have seen 50% changes of their value in one day so you can add these coin your list if you want to earn some profit from them.

I think personally for short-term investment (short sell) buy at cheap price and sell at high price = ethereum.

Best answer I can come up with is do some research. Find a coin that been fluctuating in price frequently and buy the dips and sell at peaks for profit. This is risky as you can buy / sell at the wrong  time and be at a loss.

at the moment it is difficult to say exactly what you buy at the moment, while the market has fallen, you can buy enough coins, I would advise you to take such as
1. Stratis

This coin is not likely even to give one 2x profit since it would be breaking the record price for it. Bitcoin and litecoin are both low, but the situation is pretty much like with stratis for these coins. I think ripple is the best choice for now, because it used to be worth 2.5 times more than now and I believe in about a month it would pretty much be able to fully recover.  Bitcoin cash is another option, since it is also very down right now and it can probably be worth the sums it used to be worth quite fast. you are on a short-term goal. if that so better look for those coin whose under 50 sats. well, i don't see any good but TELCOIN.
buy at 54 satoshis and sell at 70 this will give you more profit but don't forget to buy in and sell out daily/
