[ANN] Rarecoin (RARE)

Hello everyone,

We've been exploring the problem that some users have reported with the wallet displaying a warning message. For the time being, we have made a new version of the wallet that does not display these warnings when encountering blocks mined with certain version bits. Old wallets still have full functionality, and the chain is not affected in any way by this change. This update is for those who don't want the warning message. On the new wallets, the warnings should only display if they should.

As a precaution, please backup your wallet/keys before using this new version. We have not altered any code except to suppress the warning message, and we don't really see why this would cause any problems, but it is good practice to backup your keys anyway.

The new Windows wallet can be found here (we have kept the old version up at the same location as before):

If this does not solve the problem, please wait for the wallet to fully sync, close the wallet and start it again. If you are still having problems, post them here, or feel free to e-mail us at rarecoindev{@}gmail.com.

For Linux users, the source for this new version is under a new branch called 'dev' that can be found here: https://github.com/RarecoinDev/Rarecoin/tree/dev
