MtGox owns me ~5000 USD from 2013-06-18 withdrawal request. It was 10 weeks ago.
I've tried to return this funds as BTC and as flat - no result. Support on August [20, 2013 21:19]:
Code:
The withdrawal request which you made on 2013-06-18 is in pending status and it will be credited shortly in your bank account. Kindly apologize us for the delay and inconvenience that may have caused.
after several more requests and 8 days I've released that this "pending" status forever.
This is exactly fraud, no more doubts. I think MtGox is just short of money - both BTC and USD. This is real reason why they can't return this transfer to MtGox account or to my bank account. And this is without considering the fact that I have already lost ~[17%+bank rate] of this money because of price change and wasted time.

Anyone with same "pending" for all eternity funds - you can join me. I am gathering documents.

I was considering to arbitrage, but if they won't allow you to cancel a pending (and locked) withdrawn to make a btc/local/sepa one, i will stay out of it.
Thanks for the info.

You might lose more money in a lawsuit, and won't even get a single penny after it...

I had no issue withdrawing coins yesterday as well.

That's because there is no issue withdrawing BTC.

OP, I suggest you contact support MtGox by live chat. There is probably a miscommunication somewhere.

They DO NOT want to return money as BTC as well as USD or whatever. It's 0 on account balance.

Aha, after sending link to this thread they suddenly found some funds to return me Angry Angry Angry after additional 10 days of price going up. They made their mind that 20% is enough. - There is only one way now - I will buy BTC and then I will withdraw BTC immediately. 20% of flat currency will be theirs because there is no way to get anything besides BTC from them. Using this 20% they will buy BTC on another markets (+ ~15 USD diff) and block all flat withdrawals, playing with this money as traders all "pending" time. If someone will ask them back - no problem. Just play with them some more and then return with profit. Buy BTC to keep BTC withdraw working (making illusion of working market) and go on... Angry

Again!
Now I can't withdraw even BTC! Watch out - this can be not simple site malfunctioning!

When I try to withdraw BTC I see only "Invalid bitcoin address try again". Many address was checked, all valid. Even 1 BTC unavailable, limits is ok. Also at that moment BTC balance becomes zero. Then it restores...

I think that it means that there is not enough BTC on MtGox, and this message is simple "placeholder" in site code.

Sorry, but this link is BS. Look at the date, it's from 2011.

Had no problem transferring my entire bitcoin balance out of my verified MtGox account.  I am a little concerned about the $4.06 in fiat still sitting there.   Grin

Hurra! I finally took my money, albeit with the loss, and not in "flat" currency.
It must be written on a piece of paper near computer
"Rule 1: Never mess with MtGox.
Rule 2: If you really need to use MtGox services - just remember last weeks."
