I think that this project will be successful.
All crypto-community use Telegram for communication. That's why the project will have a strong and good promotion. Although i'm not sure that this project will really cost 3 millions ETH as I read in the news. But everyone will talk about Telegram for several months.

I'm definitely concerned about the size of the ICO but I suspect it will be at least modestly successful as the crypto community is all over Telegram and the remittances market is massive and growing fast with lots of up-side. I'm thinking to put a small amount into the ICO as they do have a solid product and seems a clear plan to integrate their coin into their product.

I wish your project would be success. sounds good strategy unless the telegram very easy to make (multiple account), thats way you need other related social media account for strongly supporter. only technically opinion from me.
A great project still needed a long way to be succes like a purpose.

That's great because it can reach Hard cap more quickly and then many people will try to catch they Token on crypto exchanges. And price will go up!
If it be unknown messenger on ICO that will be worse I think.
It still not enough developed. It have big potential and if Durov could have more investition on it that will be coolest thing on market. And if it start to make payment P2P and B2P (like chinese WeChat) - that will be a bomb.

If you have seen the whitepaper of ton ico and all of the words look like buzz word and it doesn't make sense in my opinion. It looks the whitepaper has been writing for a kid. With non-sense target and if you are participated in the ton and you got nothing because there is no a lot of room to grow. Believe me it's just a kind to waste your money. Small ico was better rather than big shit ico like ton.

Is there a hard cap? If not I would strongly recommend to avoid participating.

What I like about it is that there is already a product with many users. Maybe I will buy it after it hits exchanges.

I personally like telegram as an app and project i was excited to when i heard about their ico but when i read that they plan to raise $2 Billion from the ico i was kind of turned off, i mean why they want to raise that big for an app, i think 20 Million was enough as a hard cap for an app project, the current figure shows lack of planning and strategy that they need to revise.
