How to get free merit

Merits are free you just need to have a good comments and posts. Response to other questions nicely. Spread useful information and you users will give you merits.

I do not know how many posts I am reading about this tip responding to questions nicely, spreading useful information but I don't see this kinds of posts being given a merit.

After the first month that the Merit is implemented, a lot of posts are being merited, I mean that is great but after another month, the merit being given dumps low. I know this since a lot of good posts now don't have merits.

Because at this point everything has been repeated. It doesn't deserve merit when it's already been discussed about 10 times this week. If you have a genuine new discussion and you answer the questions intelligently then you'll get merits. Doesn't mean you'll get it every time you answer one.

I think if good skills in English can be improved by seriously posting it. I will know about cryptocurrency in the literary campaign. Here it is known about the whole world. I will know about different things and share with others. I have to improve quality more importantly.

Good advice and can be done for people who are having trouble getting merit. But to give 50 merit I'm not sure it's done right.

I have the same feeling  maybe he didn't think that this is not a really good excuse and can be understood pretty easily. 
But we must give credit to OP for that he at least made an excuse for this. Others don't even do that, and give them away to even the silliest posts ever.

This is amazing. They are just farming in the Meta board, shamelessly.
If it was a mistake, then they should need to give an explanation. If not, then both should be banned, we need to make an example here.

There's no free merit, you need to make a good quality post to get merits. You made a bait topic for merit farming. 50 merits do not deserve for this topic.  The only user can deserve 50 merits is Theymos and Nullius. Good luck if your account will not have a negative trust after a month.

They have some source that have their own speculation before they will send you a merit. You need your post is informative to others that have a great proof. Your post is helpful for the user have a question. The merit is everywhere so be a productive user and reward you a merit.

Why do you guys feel the need to intrude in these threads on merit?  Just stop posting this bizarro-world BS, because it doesn't add anything and there's no way you're going to earn merits by doing so.  What's going to happen is that you'll end your chances of receiving merit from people, because you're going to end up on people's ignore list.

Your points are well on check. Especially the last one. Nothing is for free to get anything, one have to work their way out for it. If everyone is concerned so much about getting merits some persons might lose sight of what this forum is really about. I suggest for once, we all take a break from seeking to get merit and focus on learning which specifically is what the forum was built for.

This was just your own means of farming for merit. I'm here like how the hell did you get 50merits for saying nothing. Maybe you just exchanges merits between your account but you should have done that reasonably and in buts not just dump the whole merit once. Try and correct your caption as it doesn't go well with your write up.

1- improve your writing style
2- try to read posts before relying so you don't repeat something already said
3- improve your English or just stay in your local board
4- try to avoid participating in signature campaigns because this is the big issue in this forum and the reason of the low quality posts nowadays
If you're here to make money then there is millions of opportunities and ideas in this forum that should help you , not only signature campaigns .
Anyway I advice you to forget about getting something free here , every thing has a price , even this post has a price , his price is my time .

I think newbies are able to receive merit if they can post in high quality, however for the tips above feeling weird for no 4....OP says that try to avoid participating in sigcam in other side there is signature in the profile....funny to me.

Newbies and juniors should avoid joining signature campaigns. The reasons are that they are still new and the signature campaigns need better exposure for the business which initiated them. On the other hand newbies should work getting to know the forum and how everything works here. Read more than you write posts. Gradually you will be able to make constructive posts and in turn get merits to rank up as well. Its a slow and stedy race and not a shitposting spree to get paid.

@OP nothing come for free in this world. This "free money" attitude of shitposters in this forum is the reason why its going to hell.

This is very ironic for you. You advised people to avoid joining signature campaigns, but here you are. And I don't think not having a signature campaign would really give you a chance of receiving a number of merits. I mean it has nothing to do with it, simply it depends on the user. If that user can cope up to the required number of posts as well as having quality posts, then that's good. For example you have 20 posts requirement for that signature campaign, you could plan for a schedule like 5 posts per day. Making 5 quality post for the day is more than enough time to do so.

I think other way how to get merit is just to be helpful to others, for example providing some service and in return you get not only paid for it but then you have a ground for asking for some merit.

The merit system is part of the new social media rating concept " Proof of Brain " - it doesn't seem to have worked in this case.

I've just realized and it's shocked me.
No offense, but by looking the OP posts summary, it's counting +170 posts since merit system was implemented. And he got all these merits only on this thread, what a surprise he made!
