Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Well candoo is doing some other pretty questionable things at the moment , but he is certainly not affiliated with rumbitla. rumbitla's account is secured now and will never make a post again.

Hey, don't give up so quickly It's still an early stage, good time to buy or earn really cheap bitcoins. You will see in 10 years. A quote from lonesoul: If bitcoin succeeds in taking over 1% of the transaction market, they will be worth $100,000 per coin. Basis for that statement can be found here: http://falkvinge.net/2013/03/06/the-target-value-for-bitcoin-is-not-some-50-or-100-it-is-100000-to-1000000/

I hope it will be worth that amount in 1o years, but, I'm not sure.

Unless the rules have changed all of a sudden. This has been talked about a few times and moderators/admins have always said that it is authorised.
